Perfect Fit & Easy Installation for Stihl BR600!
I purchased this Dalom BR600 carburetor kit to replace the failing carb on my Stihl BR600 backpack blower. The kit arrived quickly and included everything needed for a full refresh—carburetor, fuel lines, air filter, spark plug, gaskets, and more. After installation, my blower started on the first pull and now runs like new! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help with installation:Installation Steps:Tools Needed:• Screwdrivers (Phillips & flathead)• Socket wrench set• Needle-nose pliers (optional)1. Remove the Old Carburetor:1. Turn Off & Disconnect Spark Plug: Safety first! Remove the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting.2. Remove Air Filter Cover & Filter: Use a screwdriver to take off the cover and remove the old filter.3. Disconnect Fuel Lines & Throttle Linkage: Carefully pull off the fuel lines using pliers if needed. Detach the throttle linkage.4. Unscrew & Remove Old Carburetor: Use a socket wrench to loosen and remove the bolts holding the old carburetor.2. Install the New Carburetor:5. Position the New Carburetor: Align it properly with the mounting holes.6. Attach Fuel Lines & Throttle Linkage: Ensure a secure fit to prevent leaks.7. Secure with Bolts: Tighten the carburetor in place using the original bolts.3. Replace Filters & Final Setup:8. Install New Air Filter & Cover: Place the new air filter from the kit and screw the cover back on.9. Replace Spark Plug: Install the new spark plug for optimal performance.10. Reconnect Spark Plug Wire & Start the Engine: Prime the bulb, pull the starter cord, and let it run for a few minutes to check for smooth operation.Final Thoughts:This kit saved me money compared to buying an OEM carburetor, and it works just as well. If your Stihl blower is bogging down or hard to start, this is a perfect solution. Highly recommend!

Good Alternative to Stihl OEM Carburetor
After finding the accelerator pump leaking on the original carburetor (it would not prime/purge), I sold the customer on just replacing the carburetor with this aftermarket version. After figuring out that the muffler was clogged by dirt dauber nests, the blower fired right up and runs great. I did have to adjust the mixture needles a bit to dial it in, and I don't like that the low speed mixture needle has to be turned almost ALL the way in, but... it idles and revves up with little to no hesitation, so...

Solid product
The media could not be loaded. Easy install, & works as it should with no adjustment needed. Like others mentioned primer bulb didn’t fit my br550, & choke knob sticks out a little farther then flush but no big deal. Great buy for the price. And I’d do it again.

Carb Kit for Stihl Blower.
These arrived quickly. They are very reasonably priced and everything fit as needed and expected. Some have said that they were displeased because the carburetor needed adjustment after being installed. Carburetor's most usually will need fine tuning after installation. Not a big deal. It's just part of the process.

Works well, huge savings, if you're a stickler, might have to adjust.
Let me first say that a stihl carb alone is $100, and that's bare carb. This kit is a great value, everything fit and worked well enough, my only slight complaint is I needed to tweak the idle to make some of my more needy operators happy. There is plenty of information online how to do that. If you're a normal person, just bolt it on and go it'll be great. I currently manage and maintain a fleet of commercial and industrial grade lawn care or groundskeeping machinery and I'll be looking into this type of stuff more often to not bust my budgets.

Be careful...recommend OEM for this part
Took the risk and very disappointed. Blower worked well for ten minutes and then started losing power. The throttle cable holder requires modification to accept the cable. I had to make the hole a bit larger. The spring material for the shutter valves may not be spring steel. The springs felt softer than the OEM. I replaced the carb with a new OEM carb and blower now works fine. Also note, the BR600 has a few different carburetor designs depending on the machine’s serial number. Best to stick with OEMfor this component. Air filter was fine and so was primer bulb. Hoses are softer than OEM and diameters questionable; I did not use. The air filter appeared no different than OEM and used it. The fuel filters only help to replace one filter. The kit does not provide a filter to connect two fuel lines, $7 to purchase OEM filter. The kit comes with two gaskets but you only need to replace the one on the intake side. I was surprised the kit did not provide the tank vent; $7 OEM part.

Awesome Carb Kit
These kit is awesome. Everything you would need to replace a carb. Every easy to install. Needed minor adjustments to the throttle, high and low side of the carb.

Just Okay
The primer bulb is way toooooo BIG for the BR 600.
