Great Little Travel Guitar!
I've been playing guitar for 30+ years, and have been classically trained. I can say this is a great little guitar for the money. It has decent tone and volume for it's size and price range. Does it compare to my concert guitars? Of course not.. Does it make a perfect couch guitar for learning repertoire while watching TV or listening to an audiobook? Absolutely. It makes a great travel and campfire guitar as well. I would also recommend getting the Cordoba Deluxe 1/4 Size Gig Bag which is sold separately to go along with it to protect it.

Totally blown away!
I've purchased many guitars through Amazon both acoustic and electric. It's difficult buying an instrument when you can't physically see it, touch it and hear it. I've gotten some diamonds and some duds. This is a diamond. I took a chance and purchased used. Let me say I can't find a thing on this guitar to indicate it has been used. In fact I've gotten "new" instruments through Amazon in far worse condition. Having said all that I love the sound, the look and playability of this guitar. Love it!

Which mini to choose?
I have bought all three models (and returned one), so I guess I should say something about them. The basic model-MH version is a decent one. At this price point, it has nice sound and quality and it’s very portable. You don’t need to worry too much about it.The upgraded version-FMH has a very mellow sound and beautiful texture. If you do care about these points, even it’s at a muchhigher price, then you may choose this one.The ebony version, in my opinion, is a failure. It’s much more expensive, but the sound is very dry comparing to these manhagony models and previous mini versions. But if you do need a normal mini guitar tuned to EADGBE, with a little higher quality (solid spruce top, a Córdoba pickup with on-board tuner) than those manhagony ones, you may choose this one.I recommend the previous mini versions to these who care about quality most. They are extremely portable and have greatsound. They are tuned to a much higher turning. But you can adjust it a little bit in your own way. I own a cordoba mini M which I tuned it 2 frets down and it sounds very mellow.

Cordoba Mini II FMH
This now makes the 6th Cordoba guitar that I have purchased. It is replacing a couple of original Mini’’s that I have passed down to my son for his guitar lessons. I really like this guitar and it is my go-to guitar for noodling around the house and in bed while watching TV. I find the sound quality superb as as it always case with acoustic guitars, it’s has it own unique sound different from my others. I have found Cordoba’s to be like candy—you can’t have just one:)

"Cosmetic Imperfections"??
I have owned all three models of the MINI II, and found the FMH to be the best in terms of sound projection and tone quality (the EB-CE, ironically, is the lousiest of the bunch). The only reason I am leaving a one-star rating here is due to the inaccurate product description by Amazon Warehouse. It was stated that the used guitar has "small cosmetic imperfections," which turned out to be a long and deep scratch mark on the back of the guitar... more like a damage to me! I am returning the used guitar and will re-order a new one. Let the buyer beware!

Lack of quality control screwed up a great design
I like the design of this Cordoba Mini II FMH, compact, frets spacing and etc. The first arrived with an annoying buzz on the 5th string and all the fret copper bars were not de-burred. The sharp metal edges were sharp and may cut the left hand fingers moving up and down the neck. I returned it. The second one arrived with a tuning knob bent about 3 degrees making it hard to tune and it slipped with turning. I returned for another replacement but the policy as set up did not allow me to do that. So I had the money refunded. Then I went to the guitar center, had them opened up their inventories one by one until I found a reasonable quality one without sharp metal fret bars, without buzzing sound, and without crooked tuning knob. This guitar design all of them sound nasal, but I put up with it, because I couldn’t ask for more for the price. Cordoba should build this mini guitar with better sounding wood for better sustain and more punchy sound like the flemingco guitars. I would pay up to USD$800 for on of such a guitar. First, Cordoba in China must get the quality control in order!!

Nice flame mahogany guitar
Good value for the money. The 12th fret intonation is a little flat. But it's a travel guitar for me after all. No fret sprout so happy with purchase.
