Can you get filter replacement for this unit

You can but it is cheaper I have found to buy a new complete unit.

How do you remove the oil cup? After trying to unscrew counter-clockwise, it feels like its been super-glue'd on.

I couldn’t get it off either In the end fitted it and then when service came round 12 months later got them to change it

Will a delphi hdf 296 fit this filter?

no idea, i bought one of these, i manged to get the plastic clear piece of the bottom but the filter part i cannot unscrew. even using a filter strap wrench I fitted it and it seems to work and in 12 months I will hammer a screwdriver through the filter and hopefully get it undone

Diesel Filter

I have not assembled this unit yet, but I can say it’s of good quality and not a lightweight item, I need to buy other connectors as my unit needs to coppers to a copper hard piped system
