Works great
This is a solid reel nice weight great for the price and I love how smooth it is great for salt water surf fishing nice size.

Great saltwater reels
I have 6 of these reels (4000) size that I use for salt water bay fishing. They have seen 6 seasons of use. I wash them down with the drag end of spool up and have no issues with the mechanicals. My only complaint is some of the diecast plating is flaking and pitted on some reels, but not others. The aluminum and stainless steel parts look great. I have about 300 days of casting jigs for seatrout, snook, and redfish. I will definitely buy these again. Cast quality with braid is exceptional.

spool size
I have several diwa reels . I use them for cat fishing 16 lb plus and have had no problems. The dwa 6000 spool is not the same size as the sds 6000 It is smaller. It is a good quality and inexpensive reel. I returned the dwa 6000 and ordered the dwa 7000.

Don't Buy!!! The only good thing about this reel is the colors of it.
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a fishing reel. After the first time I used it I had a hard time reeling it since it was very stiff. It wasn't like that when I first used it while fishing. I did lubricate the reel with WD40 and then it finally started working for a little while. Also, the reel handle broke off the second time I used it because the entire reel was stiff and could not reel in the line. The inner parts of the reel are plastic and made with a crappy alloy type of metal. Poor product. Do not buy. What a piece of junk. Stick to American Brand Names.

The reel is a described and looks nice.
The reel is exactly what I ordered and is nice. However the shipping was questionable as it came in an Amazon bag and the box the reel came in was busted and the reel was just in the bag and not secured in the box. I expected the shipping to be better. At least the product looks undamaged.
