Hedstrom 2 in 1 Deluxe Swing

Brought for my 1year old grandson. Husband found it easy to assemble and sturdy. Grandson loved it

Good little starter swing. When she grows a little we will raise it as per the instruction. Not too expensive.

Nice and sturdy. Good for one year old upwards. Slightly fiddly to assemble, need 3 hands.

A brilliant swing.Well constructed. Safety features excellent. Looks good. Bought this for my grandson he loves it. The 2 size feature means it will grow with him and be used for years. Highly recommend.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. She absolutely hated it. The quality of the seat is very poor. There's no middle fixed part between the legs, just a strap, so she kept slipping forward. Very flawed design. Wouldn't recommend

Delivered a lot quicker than acknowledgement said. A sturdy swing, with the ability to extend as children get older. Our 1 year old granddaughter loves it! The instructions could have been clearer to identify what needed to be done to set it up for a toddler and then for an older child - something written would have helped to supplement the diagrams. But we worked it out!One caution is that the model we got seems to be being phased out, as it was available in very few stores (so we had it delivered). The seat is rigid and with very effective straps, but the replacement model - which was available in lots of stores - seems to have a fabric seat and appears less safe. We would not have gone for it if our preferred model was not available.

We bought this for our three-year-old grandson who is still too small and young for a child seat and needs to be strapped in. We thought this would be ideal because he could move onto the other seat later, however what we didn’t realise was that when the frame is in the higher position, only the childseat can be used, because there is no adjustability to the hanging ropes of the toddler style swing! Also, it is really tricky to get a child into the toddler swing whatever their age and size because of the collapsible fabric sides, so one adult on their own might find it quite tricky especially with a wriggling toddler. Because we are resourceful we bought additional fixtures to extend the rope, but really it would’ve been better if it had been adjustable to fit both size frames as most children need a transition period in a toddler seat on a higher frame as they grow, before progressing to a child seat. We have had swings in the past for other children that did this, and we assumed that this would be the same. A good point is that it is still quite good value, but people should be aware of this limitation.
