AN INCOMPARABLE BOOK
This book is exhaustive, gives a lot of idioms on different topics. Highly useful for students of English as well as English teachers. I recommend that every student of English should own a copy of it.

Great handbook for writers
This is a perfect handbook of all popular (and not so popular) English idioms for writers - both in creative and business contexts. Comes in handy for copy writers in advertising and marketing.

Not comprehensive enough
Don't be deceived by the product description. The number of pages devoted to its subject matter i.e. definition and explanation of idioms is just 326. The rest of the pages give subsidiary information. This means that there is only a partial coverage of all the idioms that exist in the language in this book. Too many have been simply left out. For instance, several idioms related to even the common word 'cut' are absent. Besides, the meaning of some idioms provided in this book are in a narrower sense than what one would ordinarily come across in standard works of reference on idioms.
