I finally chose the right barell size!All of the Conaire hair products are over and above on quality and price! I love all the pieces I have purchased and my daughters have been the ones that have been buying them for ten more years than I have.They told me about how much they love them.

I was sad to return this but within 10 minutes of use, my hair got caught in the clamp screws and the prop notch at the top of the iron several times, and I couldn’t avoid hitting the on/off buttons a couple of times.All of my hot tools have been conair over the years for their great price, durability, and quality, but this one missed.I have long hair so this barrel was too short, though average length barrels have always been fine. The barrel didn’t glide well on my hair either. I also don’t love that the clamp spring is visible; it makes me think hair could get caught in there, too.For $20, it’s fine. It heats up quickly and produces pretty waves, but the worst part is the exposed screws on the clamp because they catch hair so easily.
