Q: Anyone else having issues connecting the printer to their laptop?

Be sure your laptop is pointing to the same SSID as the printer. For instance, my printer would not print from my PC. I discovered my printer was pointing to SSID xxx2.5 while the PC was pointing to xxx5.0. Works fine now. BTW, takes a bit of time from sending printing request till the printer actually starts printing.

Q: Can you print on 80 lb card stock?

I had some 110 lb card stock and tried printing on it. One sided printing worked, however 2 sided printing did not work.

Q: Does anyone else have a problem with the printer pulling on one side and making it crooked?

Yes..!!! About every other page. Then the white plastic roller that pulls the paper thru fell out after 3 hours after it delivered to my house. Was scanning 2 pages, 2nd page went sideways and jammed. I opened top as instructed and the white gear roller fell out . Cheaply made.

Q: Is it necessary to use wifi or can one just connect with a standard printer cable? I prefer the latter. Thanks.

You can connect with a USB cable. However, the cable is not supplied with the printer.
