Smells so yummy
Smells AMAZING. I got a very fresh batch. There is a sticker on the side noting that the batch I received was only about a month old and has many months of viability left. It smells so good. It has a creamy, nutty, amber smell that leans gourmand. I am using mine for fragrance blends. Because it is a resin, be aware that balsams are naturally viscous and dark colored. You can thin it out by placing the bottle in very hot (but NOT boiling) water up to just beneath the cap for about ten minutes. Then give it a good shake before opening and using. Very happy with this purchase and with the company. I like their selection and will get other products from them.

Good stuff
This is great quality and has a pleasant smell, I buy this type of Frankincence for pain and it works quickly and last longer. I get about 3 hours of relief before I have to reapply. I have not added to my moisterizer yet but I wiil be trying out soon for my complexion. I did a patch test first and had no reaction.

Labandum-you pay on returns
I originally bought this essential oil to help recreate some of my favorite perfumes since it was one of the more affordable options. However, when I opened it, I noticed a strong musk-like scent (similar to tamarind fruit) that I personally didn’t enjoy, so I chose not to use it. It doesn’t smell bad—just not what I was looking for. As a few other reviewers mentioned, the texture is very thick, almost sap-like. One more thing to note: returns cost $7 on a $15 purchase, so keep that in mind if you’re considering this product.

Essential, Authentic, and Worth Every Penny
As a certified aromatherapist who regularly makes Holy Anointing Oil according to Exodus 30:22-33, I can say that Calamus oil is an essential and truly irreplaceable ingredient. Yes, it’s expensive, but the depth and authenticity it brings to the blend are worth every penny. The aroma is beautifully earthy and subtly sweet, perfectly complementing the other biblical oils. If you’re serious about making anointing oil true to scripture, don’t skip on quality Calamus. Highly recommended for anyone who values tradition and excellence in their spiritual practice!

High quality
High quality. Smells potent. Seems to be better than the Euqee brand to me. Of course it is .33 oz compared to Euqee 4oz for the same price.

Pure Carrier Oil, Absolutely NO Melissa. NO SMELL, FAILED PAPER TEST
This is the worst case of bad essential oil that I have ever witnessed, not just witnessed but paid for too. This has NO smell. Really no smell at all. I've read some of the 5 star reviews and I don't know if I got the bottle with oil only, or if some of the reviewers are either A. lying, or B. have no sense of smell, or C. I have lost my sense of smell. AND, it FAILED THE SIMPLE PAPER TEST. I put a drop in 2 places on a sheet of paper and there are 2 large oil spots. I did the paper test because when I opened the bottle and failed to detect any scent at all, I put 2 drops on my wrist, rubbed with my other wrist and smelled my wrists, STILL NO SMELL, and it felt very oily, like olive oil. Melissa is an expensive essential oil, but I was hoping that since this Melissa sold by Deve Herbeswas, and coming from India would be the real deal, just cheaper because a lot of essential oils coming out of India are the real deal and they are inexpensive compared to USA essential oils. Now I'm off to Eden's Garden to spend 5 times as much as this brand for 1/3 of the volume, but at least I'll get the REAL Melissa, not some crappy carrier oil. This one will be returned. Don't aste your money on this. Don't forget the saying "If something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is."
