Quiet and large capacity humidifier with inaccurate humidity reading
UPDATE: I’m actually bumping this into 5 stars. The hygrometer is working much better and the humidifier is maintaining the room well right around 45%. It’s super quiet and lasts a long time with the large tank. As long as this thing keeps working as it should, I am very happy with it!UPDATE: After a couple more days of use, the hygrometer appears to be getting more accurate. It seems as if the abnormally high readings occur after filling the tank full, but this seems to improve as the unit is used.ORIGINAL REVIEWWe just received this humidifier a couple days ago and so far it’s been working well. I’m using it in an upstairs room where I keep some guitars to keep the humidity controlled during the cold winter months. We have an integrated whole home humidifier hooked to our furnace, but prefer not to keep the whole house too humidified to reduce condensation buildup on the windows. This little unit does a nice job for a small to medium size room and the extra large capacity is really nice, only have to fill it every 2-3 days even running almost constantly. Having the app and WiFi capability is nice as I can remotely control it even when not at home.My biggest gripe is the hygrometer reading is WAY off compared to my other in-room hygrometer, which makes the Auto function almost useless. Readings are constantly 10-15% higher than actual, mainly because it seems like the unit’s hygrometer sits quite nearby where the mist is being expelled (it appears it’s probably on the back of the unit head, but even with the mist shooting away from it, readings are quite off).So if you’re looking for accuracy to use the Auto function, this may not be the best unit, but if you plan to keep the humidifier running constantly during the very dry winter months and prefer large capacity for minimal refills, this is a good unit to consider. I obviously can’t speak on the long term function of the unit, hopefully it holds up as I know a lot of these types tend to work for a year or two and then go kaput.

Perfect for large rooms!
I’m absolutely in love with this humidifier! It works wonderfully in large spaces, providing consistent moisture without feeling overpowering. I’ve noticed a significant difference in the air quality—it’s much more comfortable and breathable, especially during dry seasons. The design is sleek and fits well with my decor, and it’s incredibly easy to use and maintain. I appreciate how quiet it runs, which makes it perfect for nighttime use. The water tank is large enough that I don’t have to refill it constantly, and the controls are intuitive. If you’re looking for a reliable humidifier for a larger room, this one is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

We love it!
Bought a few months ago for our 1,100 sq ft living space. It’s quiet, you can choose your targeted humidity percentage. Easy to clean, nice look, and simple to fill. I recommend taking the top completely off. Then using a pitcher to pour water in. Do not pour over the max line even just a little bit as it will start leaking out the back. We have had ours running straight since we got it & have a beach towel underneath (just in case!). I clean it every 1-2 weeks.

A bit wobbly but otherwise great
I've used this humidifier every day for about a month now and am very happy I went with this option. I leave it running about 10 hours on medium level mist and don't have to refill it until the next day. It's easy to fill, easy to clean, very quiet, and most importantly I can feel the difference in my apartment living room space - not as dry! The only drawback is the humidifier is a bit wobbly if you have rambunctious kids or pets that may tip it over. I just keep it on a level hardwood floor and am careful when refilling it so I've had no problems.

So Many Misunderstandings—Here’s the Truth About This Humidifier
After reading through multiple reviews, I noticed a lot of misunderstandings about how this humidifier operates. I’m here to clear them up so you get an accurate picture of what to expect.[Design & Build]This humidifier has a sleek and modern design, with two lightweight sections divided by a silver band, all secured to a pedestal base with a twist lock and screw.[Lid]• The flat lid has a 360-degree rotatable mist nozzle that is angled at 30 degrees. You can change the direction, but not the angle.• The lid features a protruding finger tab for easy removal.[Water Collection & Pour Area]• Underneath the lid is a large water collection area with a centrally located mister.• It has drainage slots on one side that direct water into the main reservoir (which holds up to 11 liters or 2.96 gallons).• The top section houses the motor and a 5-ft polarized electrical cord, and it easily lifts off for cleaning.[Main Reservoir]• The bottom section contains a simple water draw tube with an attached round water filter that is easy to replace.• Other than some plastic guides for water flow, the bottom reservoir is mostly empty.[Aroma Tray]• The unit includes a rear aroma tray with removable absorbent material if you want to add fragrance.[Size & Power]• Base dimensions: 10 inches wide × 8 inches deep• Height: 31 inches from floor to lid• Circumference: 23 inches• Max power usage: 32 watts• Water weight (full): ~24 lbs• Unit weight (empty): ~6 lbs• Handles? No, but it’s easy to move when it’s not full.[Electronics & Smart Features]I won’t go into deep technical details—you can download the user manual under “Product Guides and Documents” on the Amazon page. However, I will note:• Auto Mode: Whisper quiet• Highest setting (Level 3): Not bad in terms of noise, but audible.• App Integration: The Dreo app syncs first via Bluetooth, then WiFi only for Google and Alexa support.• Voice Control: You can control most features and scheduling through the app or with voice commands.[Alexa & Google Assistant Integration]• Alexa: Can tell you the humidity setting but not the current humidity level (this is an Alexa limitation, not a Dreo issue).• Google Assistant: Can provide both the humidity setting and current room humidity when asked:o Example: "Hey Google, what is the humidifier humidity level?"o If you named your device "humidifier," Google will give you the correct response.• Important Note: This issue happens with other smart devices too. Alexa simply does not support reporting humidity levels, while Google does.[White Dust? Avoid It Completely]One reviewer mentioned white dust buildup, which happens with humidifiers using hard water or well water.Solution? Use:✅ Distilled water✅ Refrigerator-filtered water✅ Demineralized waterI personally use my refrigerator's filtered water and have zero white dust issues.[Performance]I placed my humidifier in the middle of my living room, set the humidity goal to 65%, and went to bed.• Starting humidity: 22%• Morning humidity: 52%o (It didn’t reach 65% because my house leaks too much air, which would cost thousands to fix.)I primarily bought this humidifier to:✅ Improve humidity for my houseplants✅ Stop itchy, dry skinIt works perfectly for both.[Final Verdict]If I needed another humidifier, I would buy this exact model again. Dreo did an excellent job with the design, functionality, and smart features.Highly recommended. Hope this review helps someone!Edit: Three points: 1. The reservoir tank is one solid floor of plastic which cannot leak, however if you fill excessively beyond the outside marked max water line, as seen on the front, the overfill will leak from the top backside. 2. The Dreco app gives you full control over the unit except it doesn't provide a remaining water level gauge. That's because the remaining water level is only read visually from the front outside. 3. You can turn the unit ON or OFF by voice (Alexa/Google) or in combination with the app or by a schedule. The schedule could be made on Alexa or on Google home or in the Dreco app, it all works. 4. This unit doesn't provide any more white dust, than any other humidifier. White dust is simply excessive minerals, (total dissolve solids TDS) in the water. Again I use refrigerator filtered water which has total dissolved solids around 109 ppm.I liked the humidifier so much that I bought another identical one. My plants are happy and I don't scratch.
