Love this video doorbell much more than my ring camera I’ve tried in the past. For starters, the look is sleeker, clean, and less bulky/boxy than a ring, and it feels almost more like a legit security camera. Second the chime plug in is a great option for apartment living where you don’t have a wired in doorbell, but I don’t usually use it so the dogs don’t bark and I just rely off the noise it makes on my phone. The camera quality is great, install was easy, app works well and I’ll probably upgrade to the yearly subscription soon. Overall a great buy! I’ll have to come back and update on the battery life.

This video doorbell doesn’t indeed cover everything that I wanted I can or was able to install it either wired or wireless. I went wireless because the area I wanted to mount it on, had no power. The issue with that is that the battery life if there’s a lot of activity in the area where the camera is located the battery life is not that great, but this can be fixed with the zones feature within the app. The camera has great clarity either during the day or during the night with a nighttime view. The connectivity to my router is indeed good because my router is located all the way in the back of my house which we approximately about 300 feet and the doorbell obviously is in the front yard close to the main entrance. When I did like about this product is that it came with a chime so now I don’t need to worry about me being the only one hearing the doorbell because my phone will notify me now everyone in my household can hear the door time when someone uses the video doorbell

I love this camera. It came in super quick. It was super easy to set up. The instructions are super simple and very clear. It was super easy to add to my other cameras. I love that you get very big screens and also the 2K video footage is awesome. Very clear. It has very bright lightning and I love that you can get a very low cost plan a month to get extra services. And I love that when people call you it causes your cell phone and you can leave messages for people at the camera. It stays connected very well and has lots of storage. The battery life is awesome also.

I’ve been using the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K (2nd Gen) with the Chime 2, and I’m genuinely impressed. The video quality is super sharp, even at night, and the wide field of view catches everything at my doorstep. I love being able to talk to delivery people through the app, and the package detection is surprisingly accurate. The Chime 2 is loud enough to hear anywhere in the house. The only downside is needing a subscription for full features, but overall, it’s been a great upgrade for home security.

Set up and installation was pretty easy. The app leaves something to be desired. It’s not intuitive at all and it’s hard to find where the different kinds of settings are, like the actual camera settings aren’t even in the same area of the app as the notification settings and those are in a totally different place than the option to turn off the motion sensor. It is default set to sensitive motion alerts and we live on a busy street and it was blowing up my phone with notifications for every car that drove by until I finally found where that setting is. Really, all the settings should just be in one menu. But the doorbell works great, calls my phone when someone rings it. Camera is clear too.
