It was packed in a box, suspended in styrofoam, within an Amazon box. So, it came in perfect condition. The USPS delivered it, & that scared the life out of me, but,it was well protected. All's well that ends well. The cup & saucer are beautiful, delicate, & the color is vivid.

I bought this as a gift for my grandson's teacher. I choose this particular item because it came in a gift box. The gift box it came in was a simple brown cardboard box. Not really a gift box at all. I opened the brown cardboard box thinking the gift box would be inside. Now I have to purchase a gift box.
