I got this so my 5 year old house cat could enjoy some fresh air on the patio. I didn’t follow the starboard build instructions so I could make it meet the cat flap, and it works really well. It’s easy to put together and yet sturdy. I wasn’t too sure about the quality of the roof or the “shelves” for want of a better word, but they’re plenty tough enough for Connor. The 3 x 3 x4 is a great size for my cat and my Chihuahua often joins him in there.

Figure out new door latches - or your cats will escape!
These catios are nice but the little plastic pieces they send you to “latch” the doors are trash. Honestly haven’t found a solution for that yet and my cats have broken out of this twice in a week. The catios themselves are generally nice because you can configure them to any size, but the door latches made my rating go down.

Fantastic and Roomy
This is large and has lots of room to move around. Sturdy and easy to put together.

Is is a bargain, or is it cheap? Yes.
I'm pretty happy with this. Just be patient on assembly, it's not hard once you figure out how the connectors work. I'd be a little more disappointed with some of the downsides but for the price, I really can't complain. If you have a cat that will spend a lot of time in here, it makes sense to give them the most space your budget will allow, and this is an inexpensive option to do that.Pros: easy to assemble, lots of ways to put this together, pretty much the most inexpensive option out there for a BIG cage.Cons: not particularly sturdy once assembled, the solid panels are made with thin flimsy plastic, and I got a random assortment of panels (one extra door, nine extra wire panels, but no wire support squares for the platforms so I'll have to DIY something). You get what you pay for!

Not a good choice
My cat was able to push this up and I lost her.

Good idea, nice quality
The media could not be loaded. It took some time to put it all together, but there were no problems. I additionally tied every every junction with white thingies. I think it added stability. added toys, 2 hammocks, the baby kitten is very happy with her house. I only wished I could get more of solid parts. Were only 3 for the roof. And they seem expendable. Larger cats already made several holes.

Taking too long to put together and not as sturdy as I had anticipated.
Working on it for 2 hours so far and still putting together. The door latches are flimsy. The net cat cages are better. This is not going to last in the winds in Northern Alabama and Southern Tennessee. I'm returning.
