For the price it is nice
Definitely interesting when I first picked it up I thought it was way too light but after playing with it a while it felt heavier I'm sure the titanium version would be a little heavier I would like to think stronger also check the screws when I got it they all seem fairly tired not sure whether I'll put loctite on them right away the lock on mine seems to work just fine I believe it wouldn't have bothered me none to have been made of steel whether that's cheaper or not I don't know I would say the weak point of this knife would be the stop at the very top very thin metal left but maybe it's some kind of aluminum alloy that stronger than I think took a little getting used to it biggest to improvement was just putting a drop of oil on it made it so much easier to deploy and funner knot much else to say give it a five-star because the price the design and the quality is there but like some said could you truly use it as a tool or is it just a fidget toy either way I like it but I would love to have the original one to compare it to and yes if I lost it I would probably buy another one

Great quality look almost identical to a $300 one bought previously
I got this for my boyfriend to use as an everyday knife since the one he has that looks just like this was quite expensive and he didn't want to risk losing it, but wanted one that looked almost identical and he loves it. It shipped pretty quickly and still looks brand new and he's had it for almost 6 months by now.

Exo-M clone
Real review from someone who owns multiple Reate Exo-M's in Ti form and multiple BHQ aluminum versions. This is just an aluminum clone of the Ti version. The aluminum on the clone feels on par with my BHQ versions though the anodization doesn't quite hold up. Performed a scratch test using a razor blade on my BHQ and it shrugged it off while there was clear visible marks on the clone. Unlike the real Exo-M it only uses T8 screws for the pivot and pocket clip which is not reversible. Looks like real G10 scales but it's held on by questionable T6 screws. The blade is held in place to the blade stop with T6 screws which is made of aluminum compared to the hardened stainless steal or Ti on the real Exo-M. Blade says D2 but not sure if it's a quality D2. I don't like clones and purchased this while I had one too many whiskeys. I do like to tinker with things so I plan on getting it rebladed with a decent steel from a friend who knife maker. It's a decent knife if you plan on just fidgeting with it and opening packages which is why i'm giving it a 3 star rating. Support the real manufactures if you can.

I like it but it could be better with small changes
Build quality is ok its passible the weakest part is the lock switch. mines working great but you gotta be somewhat gentle with it its a cheap plastic.Blade quality is great came sharp and oiled. Its fun to deploy and figit with.Do to the lock being cheap feeling I would not recommend carrying it the pocket clip sucks anyways. The biggest problem is its a clone of a way better knife and works in a similar way its cool to have at way less price.ProsGood sizeGood materials minus the lock switchFun to deployClone of a really cool knife at a giga fraction of the cost.ConsLock switch is cheapScrews came loose ( buy loctite and reassemble before use!)DO NOT TRUST IT IN YOUR POCKET!!!!

Solid build
I've been carrying this every day for months and I like it. I read that the screws come loose and the lock tensioner needs to be adjusted, but I broke the end of my T6 bit trying to get any of the screws to come loose to adjust the lock mechanism. Solid build on mine.

Extremely well done GK for the price
The media could not be loaded. I’m going to preface this by saying that 99% of knives below $200 are garbage, this means $200 (+\- $20) is the starting price for quality and this falls into the 1%. I’ve seen reviews on here complaining about loose screws.. the first thing you should do with any new knife (yes, even entering the $1,000 range) is open it up, clean it, oil it, tune it and lock tight the screws. You don’t want this done at the factory as that’s how screws get stripped. I did exactly that in addition to bending the tabs in the lock to tighten it up, bent the pocket clip to add more retention and applied blue lock tight to the screws. It took me all of 15 minutes and runs like corn through a goose. It comes in a reate box but it’s obviously an exo clone since the materials are slightly different such as aluminum and not titanium and lack of branding on the knife itself. This is likely made in the same facility as the exos just with different materials, the machining is too clean to be a complete knock off. There is very little slop for a GK, the lines and are clean and match perfectly, the G10 inlays are a clean and tight fit with no gaps etc. I’ve been eying the Exo for awhile but I refuse to pay $300 for a MIC knife, this really filled that gap and I’d have no issue paying a $100 for it. Don’t sleep on these!

Just another stolen Chinese knockoff that missed the mark.
So I purchased this Chinese knockoff gravity knife mainly to see if I light the design. After owning it. I went into this fully knowing that the knife is a piece of s***. It is funny that the design is very close the Actual Reate Exo-M. After receiving it I realized how cheaply this was produced. The handle is the crappiest aluminum possible and it makes a very unsatisfyingly annoying sound. When opened and closed. And although it is printed due to on the cheap metal, it definitely is not. The locking mechanism becomes loose after locking twice. It did however serve its purpose because I really do like the design so I was able to actually locate a genuine Reate Exo version 2 full size model. I have included a picture of the Chinese knockoff on top with the genuine knife on the bottom. They're not even close in terms of quality. Pretty close in design. My My my suggestion is is save your your 45 dollars a little longer and buy the $300 original because this cheap knockoff will not last at all.
