Still getting used to this (my first) e-bike, my rating may change.
My bike arrived earlier than it's projected delivery date in what I can only call a redicoulously well packaged box. Have a good pair of scissors and a box gutter for all the zip ties. I have plenty experience working on bikes so the included manual and tools were all I needed. That said, I can understand that some people, spending a decent chunk of change on this bike may be inexperienced in bike putting together so I'm going to offer some advice.1) Look at your bike as if you were already riding it. Your left hand is the left side of the bike.2) Pedal installation, the part of each pedal that threads into the crank is marked L and R on the threaded end of each pedal. Put the pedal marked L on the crank on the left side of the bike, R on the right. On both of the pedals you must thread them on by turning them towards the front of the bike. This ensures both pedals are always pushed towards tighten as you pedal.3) The tail light only works with the bike powered on, the headlight works if the bike is not powered up also. If you are not aware you could leave the headlight on and drain your battery.4) This is a heavy bike, much heavier than a regular bike, I doubt anyone would enjoy pedaling home with a dead battery. Just be aware.I am 60 years old and have already had difficulty getting up the four steps to my front door. I'm sure I will figure that issue out though.5) Having someone to lift the front of the bike while you install the front tire is a big help.6) You may have to disconnect the headlight and straighten the wire in order for it to make it to the mounting place. I had to on mine.7) The computer on the bike says the bike is traveling at 25mph but I'm not really convinced it is accurate. I have to check it against a GPS app.8) That's about all the wisdom I got at this point. It was not a difficult put together at all. The bike is peppy, zippy even. Looks good, I even found the seat comfortable and it matched the hand grip to boot.I am pretty sure I will be upgrading the tires sooner than later but I do that with a lot of new bikes. If any of this info helps even one person I am happy I spent the time to write it.Happy New Year!

Great e-bike at a very good price
The bike came mostly assembled and after watching a YouTube video on how to put it together, it was simple to finish assembling. The battery didn’t latch in place on the frame at first, but after playing with the release with the key, it finally locked into place. It rides smooth and the electric assist makes riding very enjoyable. This was a great purchase as I was considering buying another brand e-bike for more than twice the cost.

Decent bike for the price
Decent bike and good features given the low cost. Overall a good riding experience. The motor is quite powerful.Bike shows approx. 33% higher speed and distance driven than actual. To fix, go to settings and change wheel diameter from 26" to 20". All values below are based on this change. With that, the shown driving distance is still about 8% higher compared to GPS-derived values from a smartphone app.Maximum speed on even road on electric only (throttle or PAS without using muscle power) is approx. 19mph, bike maximum speed may be throttled. This is significantly below the 25+mph stated in the Amazon description. The bike accelerates quite quickly to these speeds based on the selected PAS setting (5 levels):Level 1: 9mphLevel 2: 11mphLevel 3: 13mphLevel 4: 15.5mphLevel 5: 18-19mphTo accelerate more slowly to desired speed, do not use pedals but gently/slowly turn the throttle.Constant uphill speed on electric only without using muscle power is approx. 11-13mph depending on incline and load weight.I estimate the range on electric only at about 25-30 miles depending on terrain. When pedaling along this likely increases by 50-75% or so. The stated 70 miles range is based on the incorrect default distance measurement which measures about 33% more distance than GPS. When adjusting that as stated above by lowering wheel diameter in the settings to 20", you get 70 miles minus 33% = just over 50 miles, which you can probably get if you use a reasonable amount of muscle power while riding. The bike's display / computer has programmable settings (google "yl81f display manual"), but you can only really adjust wheel diameter and a few other things, changing settings to customize the riding experience such as PAS levels won't do anything.

Easy assembly, looks amazing! Fun ride (support available by email if you need!)
Update again - after receiving the manual with instructions to adjust settings in the display - I thought I would share the instructions for everyone. For some reason (I think it is the magnet placement, but haven't been able to figure that out 100% yet) to achieve the correct MPH on your display, you need to adjust the wheel size setting to 20" I downloaded a free MPH GPS app to verify correct MPH while cycling. Use the power console buttons pushing both +/- at same time until the display changes to the settings mode. Use the (i) button to cycle through the setting until the 27" appears (04P) at the bottom. Use the (-) button to adjust to a 20" tire size. To complete setting push (i) again to set. Long press (i) again to exit settings menu. You should now be viewing your correct MPH as you cycle.Delivered before estimated date, took two of us about 2 hours to assemble, video was very helpful to see the stages. Very attractive looking, had all the features we were looking for - honestly we haven’t taken it on the road yet, will report back riding -update - been on thy three rides now, as a first time e-bike user it was easy to figure out how the gears and throttle work. I don’t think the MPH is accurate, I emailed the bike support but have not heard back, I think there is an adjustment you can make for that, taking off one star for that.Update - I was finally able to reach the vendor by email and receive the bike support manual. I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars once again - Thank you for the contact and info. I do LOVE the bike and I'm very happy with it.
