Very inefficient, waste of money
Poorly designed and very inefficient. Draws half an amp at idle working as just a charge controller and almost 1.5 amp with inverter switched on with no load. Complete waste of money, replaced it with proper brand equipment and the difference is night and day.

High pitch squeal when solar connected!!!
The media could not be loaded. when I took my inverter out if the box there was something small falling around inside it but couldn't see anything through the vents ! I set up my new inverter anyway & it was making a squealing noise but fixed that by using thicker battery cables but any time I connect the solar panels it makes a high pitch squeal & stays like that till I disconnect the batteries & solar panels, I've tried using 1 panel then 2 and then 3 and so on but it keeps making that noise !!! My panels voltage is from 17 - 25 volts & batteries are new. I tried find out what was wrong by asking the seller for help but they had no clue why it was making the noise ! The inverter gives out good power up to between 800w / 900w continuously without any problems.

Unit arrived with an internal fault - Zero output voltage
The product was well packaged and arrived quick enough. I was intending to use the unit as a UPS for a computer system. When I bench tested the unit (1000w 12v) all appear to work ok, i.e. the battery was charging and when I simulated the main power going off the unit bye-passed the mains and switched over to battery power. The user interface panel was visually pleasing and informative but misleading. The cooling fan was quite noisy so you need to consider where you would install this other wise it would be quite obtrusive. The only problem I had (major problem really) was that despite the panel showing and output voltage of 241v / 228v the unit had zero volts at the output terminals. I contacted the Seller via the Amazon system and they suggested some checks which I carried out - still no output voltage. I arranged to return the unit to the supplier at their cost for a refund. They contacted me a few days later to say they had tested the unit and found a loose connection inside and offered to return the repaired unit to me. I requested a refund which I received.
