Good oil, bad dispenser
Good product. Thin, smooth and leaves a clean coat of oil on the surfaces of firearms. Two issues. First, foul odor. Big deal, if it works well it’s worth it, and it does. Second issue, the spout on the can is no good. You have to use a screwdriver or something to pull the red spout up. That’s a pain. It’s worth putting this in another bottle for that reason alone. Maybe it’s just the one I received but the can is like a lighter fluid can and those pop up by pushing the back of the spout. Otherwise, good stuff and worth having

I keep coming back to it.
Long time user (15? years). Doesn't dry up on guns, seems excellent lube, I'm now a fully synthetic man! (that's what the ex-wife said also) I use SUPERLUBE for synth. grease, and this for every thing else (including mixing w/ syn-grease for more viscous stick). Found years ago accidentally (was all they had, when I forgot oil on a trip), I used it to try to stop rusting of rifles' lock mechanism , but it worked even better than the yellow grease around the flint holder after rain/snow/shooting. I haven't found anything it doesn't help as a lube. I'm not as good as Gun Tests, but I do keep trying the latest miracle lubes (like gun juice and nano-lube at much, much higher cost) that work the same, but like I said: I keep coming back to this, always have a can or 5 hanging around for hinges, cable housings, and removing that !#$%^& price-tag stickum. Need complaints? (compared to shootin', nothing's perfect) I hate and have to cut the little protective flap over the nozzle so I can get a thumbnail (instead of a screwdriver) to rotate the spout up, and I always "burp" the can before closing the nozzle so it doesn't leak when it warms. Can is a little shorter/wider than it used to be, and I like that also.

They removed the PTFE
They removed the PTFE so the product has changed.I purchased BWC because of Vernon Forbes outstanding review.I am familiar with oils of different types. I own guns, as a hobby work on Edison Phonographs, work in aviation, and change the oil in my cars. Regular oil like 3 in 1 has been around since 1894 and was recommended by Edison I was told. The governors and other parts on the phonographs I work on has what looks like a varnish on them from evaporated 3 in 1. Other parts I work on suffers from being gummed up from convention oil. Before trying this Hoppe's Elite Gun Oil with T3, 4-Ounce Bottle was the best oil I found, but it did not last that long. BWC not only last longer but it reduces friction more.Synthetic does not dry out like convention oil does so the BWC last longer.
