ParafilmM PM992 All Purpose Laboratory Film,Semi-Transparent

I was familiar with Parafilm from my student days in Chemistry labs. I started hearing from people that Parafilm had uses outside of the lab as well. Folks are using it to seal perfume bottles, decant, and travel sprays to prevent or reduce perfume evaporation. There is a bit of a learning curve to using this stuff. It is stretchy, but if you pull too much, it will break. That's why I gave it 4 stars, even though the roll I received was in great shape. Very happy to have it!

Using the paratape for keeping bacteria out of test dishes for mushroom cultivation. Apparently it worked just as it should because I had no bacterial growth in 7 out of 7 agar plates so I don't have to isolate any mycelium, it's all looking good. It's mode of adherence is the stretch (kind of like saran wrap) and wow! Does it stretch. It wraps, clings and keeps the agar dishes closed while letting air escape in the mycelium growth process. This whole process is new to me so having a quality product to work with is really nice.

Use tape for crafting apple trees. Works great. Fast delivery. Great to do business with.

Parafilm is ideal for grafting. Easy to work with and strong enough to stay put. Easy to store and doesn't deteriorate in storage. It is just stretchy enough for grafting and yet still stays put on the graft.

OK quality - a bit brittle for a noob.

Love this product as I’ve always used it but this is 3rd time we have gotten a roll with beat up box and a slight “crease” in the roll itself. Inside flap on box appears like it’s been stepped on a couple of times black marks on inside of box. Again great product but needs to be shipped in better packaging. Update. Have worked with this film for over a week now and it’s given me nothing but issues. Don’t order this item from Amazon, the reviews are very true. Old stock and will crack while wraps plates.
