Having had throat cancer that required chemo and radiation treatments to stop the cancer I was left with the inability to taste food. I can sense salt, sugar and spice but anything bland is not satisfying. I love to cook and always have considered myself an amateur chef. That said I also lost my sense of smell due to a head injury 37 years ago. It kind of makes it a challenge to provide good tasting food to those I serve so any help from products like Pepper Belly Pete is welcomed. I used this as a rub on ribs and my family loved it. It was a sincere compliment to my cooking not a sympathy vote. Thanks for the rub! I am sure it is delicious 😋

Tastes good. A little spicy and can cause heartburn but is tasty.

I’ve been putting this on my food and honestly I don’t really see the wow in this. It’s honestly just like a Lowery seasoning salt to us. Nothing special. I’m leaving a one star review for the taste and I only wanted one can to try but they only come in packs of two which sucks. Wish I could’ve only bought one to find out if I liked it first.
