Heavy-Duty Shrub Puller, Model MTF103

Works as advertised, great tool

The media could not be loaded. Worked great till the cable snapped, it frayed on the upper pin from multiple attempts of pulling with my 4door Jeep. Pulled out 2x (almost 3) 6” Dog wood trees, 15 azalea bushes, a 10” Juniper tree, a bunch of vines all in a 20’x30’ area.I wish there was a way to only get a replacement cable. I read all the negative reviews on here, they definitely used it wrong or had too much force and bent their puller.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is awesome. Pulled out 6 bushes in an hour. It’s a solid unit. I saw the posting showing it was bent but I’m sure he was using it for more than a bush and more than it should be used for. I just wish that I was the one that invented this thing. Highly recommend!!!

Not so tuff.

Worked exactly as advertised! I used my Nissan Leaf! Pulled four large overgrown evergreens.

Installing a fence to replace 240 feet of large arborvitae. This tool was the best and we pulled about 15 stumps an hour with no problems. No comparison to hand digging to remove the stumps. Highly recommended for large arborvitae. All pro no cons!

Somewhat limited for size of plant/tree to be “pulled”. Item video is probably the max size to be handled. The steel cable bits into the trunk/bark and embeds itself. I had to cut the trunk off to extract the cable. I tried to pull out a larger shrub and found the cinch cable just long enough wrap around it. Apparently I over stressed the cable and it came apart at the top loop where it is mechanically joined. Broke the cable and failed to remove the shrub. Must have the setup angle aligned just right with the pulling force or the whole thing tips over - if it does not “sink” into the ground from the pulling force. Again, it is limited in size of shrub/tree to pulled. After it broke and I went right back to cinch chain around the trunk or base of the shrub.

My husband had a blast tearing out some large bushes. Worked really well.
