I’m absolutely in love with COLORCHARM VIVID DARKS in Viva Violet—this is my new go-to hair color! The shade is vibrant and rich, giving me the perfect purple hue. It’s also surprisingly low odor, which makes the application process a lot more pleasant. What I love most is how soft and shiny it leaves my hair afterward. It’s definitely a keeper in my haircare routine from now on!

I have dark brown hair (almost black) I have tried so many at home hair dye, but non of those show colors on my hair without having to bleach it first. I mixed this color with 30 volume developer, and it came out wonderfully with subtle darker red hair! It works!

The color came out exactly how I wanted, and I’m really happy with the results! The dye itself is great quality. That said, just a heads-up — it comes with very little product and doesn’t include bleach, developer, gloves, or anything else. I’m used to buying kits that come with everything, so I was a little surprised this was just the dye. I had to buy extra supplies separately and even needed a second tube to fully cover my hair.Overall, I’d still recommend it for the color, but make sure you’re prepared with everything you need!

I am so impressed with this. I have black hair and I really hate bleaching my hair to get a beautiful color. This is so bright I love it. I used 30 volume devoleper. 100 percent will be using this from now on.

Love love love this brand and this line of hair color. I have naturally very very dark brown hair and my hair doesn’t handle bleach well. It’s turns to straw so I won’t do it. But this color legit does lighten your hair but it also has conditioning qualities so my hair never felt stringy or over processed. Love it

Red is more of an orange. So disappointed with this, turned my daughter's red hair orange. She has a banquet on Friday and her normal hair color wouldn't be in on time so I thought I would try this brand due to the good reviews. Now I have to rush and go buy a red hair color and hope that it covers that nasty orange.

I have grey hair , my roots were mostly white before I dyed using the instructions with developer (30) and dye in 1:1 ratio. Since my hair is resistant to dyes I kept it for an hour. I didn’t pay attention to the box where it days this dye is for “dark hair “ . Basically magenta color looks like bright raspberry color on my roots. It is a very pretty color , not what I wanted but that is on me. I thought if someone with grey hair would like this hair color, this review might be useful to them.

I've been coloring my hair for years, using all different brands and colors. I am very good at at-home dye jobs. I know how to mix color and what will and won't work for my hair and what previous dyes are on my hair. This color was incredibly disappointing. It lifted my roots to a vibrant neon orange (hot roots) which is not something that should have happened given how I applied it and everything. Also, the ends were lackluster and coppery. I know this sounds like user error, but I promise you I've never had this happen before, even with using this brand. (This is my first time using the Ruby Red color). Just overall disappointing, and a waste of money since I have to now mix some different colors to make my hair public-ready. (I will be wearing a beanie to work for a few days.)
