Sticky Stuff
I've used chain saws for decades, but never used actual chain oil, instead I have used motor oil. The package says that this oil includes an additive to help it stick to the bar and chain, and indeed it sticks. However, the viscosity is still normal and flows properly though my saw's automatic oil dispenser. I don't think I'll use common motor oil again.
