If you don’t have one of these for your MarkIV, I strongly encourage you to get one.The instillation wasn’t necessarily easy, but once I stretched it out a little (and I mean a very minor amount) it slid right on. Has stayed on through hundreds of rounds. Looks good, feels good, and is of good quality.Very good price compared to the competitors and quick shipping time. Honestly I mean this, if you have one of these pistols, you might as well pick this up. It makes FTF/FTE’e much more manageable. Saves ya from a pinch and imo works better than the charging handle accessory that other sites sell.

Very nice, similar to the more expensive product I'm sure you've seen. Watch the install video. Try lining it up the way they show you a couple times and then turning. Take this product's machine bolt out first to remove any tension, and then once you have this ring installed on the weapon's bolt pull, reinstall the machine bolt and tighten it with the provided allen key. When you get it right the ring goes on easily so if you're having trouble start over and try again. You should not experience friction or difficulty in installing. Should take you 30 seconds to get on. Great fit, solid product, easy installation.

I put this on a Ruger Mark 4 75th anniversary edition. It didn't just slide on so I took the bolt and passed it through the other side and put a penny in between both halves. This forces the bolt as you turn it to push into the penny and pry open the halo. You just keep turning the nut until it passes over the bolt and then you back it out, remove the penny, and pass the bolt through the correct side and tighten. It should be like this in my opinion because a flexed fit that also is bolted reduces the likelihood of it slipping off which would be a hazard. I shot about 200 rounds with it on and only had one instance of it failing to rack properly and two shells that didn't fire. I was using CCI standard velocity ammo. That failure rate is about the same as what I experienced without the halo so I don't think it's slightly greater weight has any impact. For me it works and is half the price of the compeitor.

You probably heard good reviews about the tandemkross halo and came to amazon to try and get one, then found this, right? Well let me save you the trouble. DO NOT USE THIS. I tried it for almost a month and it causes failure to eject about 50% of the time with cci standard.But, you ask, if the TK halo is so good, how can this be any different? Well let me tell you, this is ~28grams added to the bolt, the TK one is ONLY 11 !! What kind of witchcraft they did? I don't know, but it works perfectly unlike this one.In short:This thing makes my ruger fail to eject at least 3 times a mag. It's probably the extra weight. Do not use.

I was nervous with the off brand. Install was easy, just easy to scratch it. Have to use a flathead to spread it open then bolt it on. Doesn't affect cycling at all. Very happy with this.
