such a good ending to the series
Absolutely loved it, so nicely written, finished it so quickly, was so invested in the storyline and the characters, especially Henry, felt like I could really relate to his struggles and his coping mechanisms!

Very good read and heart warming
Love Halle and Henry and was so nice to see Henry get the love he gives all his friends in the first 2 books.Really resonated with Halle’s role as the family manager as an eldest daughter and loved how it was captured and how she broke away from it.I hope Will is miserable and would have liked to see him and his parents get some sort of repercussion for what he said about Halle and the way they dealt with his behaviour from her mum and Step Dad on that trip they all took, to show Halle she’s more important but what can you do.Very good and lovely read if in a slump

A special book
I adored this book. I adored these characters and their story and it was a book that made me feel seen and heard. Halle and Henry were both so relatable in their own ways and this a very special book. This book has a different feel from the first two in the maple hill series but I think this is the point of the book.Hannah grace has a special way of writing that makes you feel so much and empathise with the characters and feel connected to them without having had the same experiences. It's such a fluffy and feel good book and had some really sweet and swoon worthy scenes scattered throughout. This series is like being reunited with old friends and powerful friendships and found family is so prominent in all of the books.

Really good book
I liked this book a lot I loved hearing more about Henry as he was such a good character in the two previous books and Halle being a plus size girl was a bonus xx

The best of all three by a longshot
I thoroughly enjoyed this love story! I adored all the characters and really believed what they were going through. Halle is so sweet and relatable and her relationship with Henry felt the most real to me.This is a much slower burn compared to the other two and it was the perfect speed. Sometimes spicy books can add in spice for no real reason or do just the sake of spiciness but every intimate moment built the love between the characters and fit the flow of the story perfectly.I read this so quickly as well, so entertaining. Highly recommend.

I have never been so happy about healthy communication
Daydream is a brilliant example of how important communication to is to all types of relationships, whilst exploring the stressors of student life, continuing the found family vibes, we get a lovely girl group in this one aswell, and the management of other’s expectations is an interesting addition to the truly authentic depiction of people that is first and foremost to this book.Halle and Henry are fleshed out and well established people first and foremost, the fact they are romantic leads almost is secondary. And I thoroughly enjoy that fact - I am a character driven reader is you can’t tell. The supportive nature of the friend dynamic within this is amazing. Friendship specifically acts as a more solid grounding to Halle and Henry’s relationship because it allows their comfortability to be established, and it is also integral to Halle as a character. It wouldn’t have made sense to start Halle and Henry’s story with them hooking up like we had for Stassie and Nate or Aurora and Russ, because Halle is a virgin and innate to her character is the upfront desire for genuine connection that then is followed by sexual interest. How the story builds to that is done intricately but wonderfully. And the level of support and understanding that is the foundation of the successful relationships - both romantic and platonic - is magnificent.Henry’s healthy approach to communicating: whether that’s involving sex and consent, helping to quell Halle’s hangxiety which made my heart absolutely melt, or communicating his need for space, it was an incredible model for establishing relationships in this book. Not to mention the varying responses between Henry and Halle to anxiety, stress and mental distress.I wish we had seen more of Henry’s mums because who doesn’t want to see two queer women raising a child - Henry - together in a healthy and supportive environment? And I loved the context of the authors note in the beginning noting Henry’s neurodivergent traits whilst telling a story that validates the needs of individuals without requiring a diagnosis for them to be met.Overall, Daydream might be my favourite of this series and you can evidently see how much Hannah Grace has grown as a writer.

Phenomenal
Woahhh Hannah absolutely knocked it out the park with book 3 in the Maple Hills Series.I literally couldn’t put this book down and finished it so quickly!I didn’t like Henry in book 1 but my gosh have my views on him change, so much so I want to go back and read Icebreaker again now I understand him more.Halle was also brilliant in this book. I couldn’t believe the way someone is taken so for granted but I completely resonated with her when she struggled with learning to say no. Henry and him empowering her and making her feel worthy was just beautiful reading.Their romance was just completely heartwarming and the way the friendship group were with her after previous experience I was just in awe of them all!
