100% copper or copper plated aluminum?

I looked at the wire strands where they are crimped to the copper jaws. Cannot see any aluminum in the strands. I cannot say for sure they are pure copper though. I can say the cables appear high quality. The case as well. Cost is lower than any advertised as 100% copper. Your decision to make.

Are these rubber and will the remain flexible during the northeast winters?

Yes the insulated cables are nice. They should last winter weather conditions. I live in Chicago area, winters can be bad but the i did order another jumper cable case because once I took cables out of the current case it was very difficult to put cables back in case.
