Q: what is the wattage on your mixer

For this model, the KA rep is wrong. Watts = volts x amps. That's .6 x 120 = 72. The amps are printed on the heel of the mixer. KA likes to claim their DC motors are more efficient, but that does not affect the wattage - even if it were true. There is a reason KA doesn't post the wattage on their box: they are low in power. By the same token, they are light weight and have a true slow start. It just takes longer to whip the potatoes. (The newest KA 7 & 9 speed mixers have .9 amps which gives 108 watts.) The 5-speed does just fine whipping cream, especially with the whisk (sold separately) .

Q: I would like to know if the lowest speed is slow or is it a warp speed like most blenders? I need something with a slow speed when it is on low!!

After reading the answers below from other customers, I must make a rebuttal. While it is true that this mixer sounds slow, it whips cream in 60 seconds flat, whereas any other mixer I have had takes 5 - 8 minutes of beating to get whipped cream into peaks. It also handles cookie dough, cake dough, etc. It is by far the best hand mixer I have ever had. I am 72 and have had quite a few of them through the years.

After being built in China for six years, Whirlpool Corp.'s KitchenAid hand mixers are again being manufactured in the U.S., at the Whirlpool factory in Greenville, Ohio, but the hand mixers are not very powerful even on high, so if you really want a good mixer get the kitchen aid stand mixer with the steal bowl, the artisan mixer has a glass bowl that can break, and the mixer that does not tilt is harder to use, had one in blue for over 30 yrs and loved it before it was stolen :(

Q: Does this come with the accessories (dough hooks and whisk) or just the beaters?

Warning: I bought the 5-speed mixer, and the ad states you are getting the heavy duty Turbo Beaters II. This is not the case. It only comes with the standard light duty Turbo Beaters, and I had to purchase the heavy duty beaters (model KHMTB2) separately for about $25 more. Well worth it though.
