Great ESP32 DIY Dev board, love the status lights
This is a very impressive EPS32 DIY board. I have various ESP32s in my shop, but these are on steroids. I came across these board by mistake when I purchased their breakout board. I wasn't sure at first if they would do what I wanted but was pleasantly surprised. They have a built in RGB light, power led, tx/rx led, and a IO test light D02. Plus, it comes with Boot and EN buttons. The board provide 3v and 5v and several ground pins as well. It is very easy to program using VS Code and Arduino IDEs. This has to be one of the best Dev boards I've ever work with. The USB cables are of good quality too. Thanks FREENOVE

Absolutely perfect
I used this for WLED, and it worked flawlessly right from the start. I wish I had tried it sooner—it would have saved me so much time!

Lots of Convenience
Lots of pins - 40 pins total on these. Onboard LED (GPIO2) and RGB (GPIO4) are nice (in Arduino IDE, use digitalWrite for the LED on GPIO2, and RGBLedWrite for the RGB led). SPI works at 80MHz, I2C works with touchpad controller, lots of program space and RAM. Do know that this board has a wider spacing between the two pin rows than the Espressif WROOM-32E board, as this is about 24.9mm between the rows. Freenove makes a breakout board that works well with it though, and I am happy with that as well. Freenove quickly responded and sent me a schematic of the board as well.I would certainly trust Freenove for products I might want to buy in the future as they seem to be well-designed and have good documentation.

I like them
These are good little devices for a good price. The support from Freenove is great with examples and documentation and pinouts. Both of them worked for me without issue.

To wide for all my breakout boards
Wider than any others I own and thus will not fit any of my breakout boards. Disappointed.Update, the seller is great and easy to work with. Thus I am giving it 4 stars.

Excellent customer support
The setup was a bit confusing (no firmware initially installed) but customer support responded to emails within minutes with a custom made video showing the exact process to follow. Very rare to get such great tech support. I will definitely give them my business going forward.

So far I'm impressed
Everything matched the photos and the product seems good so far. I like the honesty of the seller compared to many other sellers that are dishonest in their information and photos.
