I was so excited to find this Kosher salt on Amazon at such a reasonable price! This high-quality salt is surprisingly hard to track down in supermarkets and co-ops around my area. Even if they carry the brand, they usually only have the flakes, and most recipes really call for the granules.While I love sea salt, this Kosher salt gives cooks so much more control when salting dishes because it's less intensely salty. It's a game-changer in the kitchen!

Its really hard to over salt anything with this salt.Weird story - a lot of salt makes my feet get hot and swollen (painful to talk type) drove me crazy. How do i know it was salt causing this issue - because i finally bought this salt to replace it all (except for msg still use that) no more burning red hot swollen feet. (The worst offender was a mineral sea salt)Others have said it. This is a mild salt. Ive added heaps to food and not once was it to salty to eat. Youd have to dump so much of this salt to make food inedible. I love it. I will never use any other saltThis has also been tested as being the safest least likely to have bad chemicals in it salt. Its fresh and good for health (youd be amazed how many salts test pistive for heavy metals and bad chemicals you dont want near you)Get it. Use it. You wont regret it.Texture. I use Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt all the time and truly wouldn’t use anything else for my cooking and baking needs. The texture is perfect for even seasoning, and it dissolves beautifully. Never thought I would be rating salt, yet here we are. This salt tastes like the salt we grew up with back in the day. They don’t put anything extra in it like a lot of their competitors, which is why I bought it! No additives like dextrose (Mortons) or Prussiate of Soda (others add that for anti-caking - look that up!), which can be bitter. This salt helps food taste like it should.

Love this salt! Heard about it from Nomnompaleo recipes, and love the slight umami it gives to recipes. We use it for everything from rice to salads to seasoning meat and recipes. This box is a great value for a product I haven’t been able to find in stores!

I understand why people like this over Morton's kosher. The texture is much finer, almost snow like compared to Morton's. I'm not sold on using it over the other, as I sometimes like that 'brightness' of the larger crystals, each has their own place, so I'm glad I have both to work with.

Diamond Crystal Salt to me is the only kosher salt I am interested in using. It just works…enhanced flavor but without the overly salty taste that can be a problem with other salts. It is the perfect salt for brining in my opinion.As far as the product itself, the box arrived somewhat crushed with some salt leaking out of the box so perhaps better packaging in shipping is recommended. I kept it anyway.
