this is the second magnetron I have had to replace in my Samsung microwave oven in four years. what I've learned is that Samsung builds great phones (I've had many with no issues) but they don't know how to build kitchen appliances. whether it is their selection of components or their design -- not buying them again after years and years of whirlpool appliances. this replacement part works fine though i don't know if it will work in the long run.

Was told I probably just should replace the microwave, but this was a pretty easy job and completely fixed the problem. Installed it about a month ago and haven't had any issues since.

Shoot and very good packaging cardboard box tightly packed in custom fit Styrofoam container, popped it into my microwave and ran without an issue. That was a year and a half ago. I’m still using it.

This magnetron works fine, but is a bit different than the OEM part. The OEM part had mounting bolds pressed in, this part just had holes for mounting bolts. So if you don't have a collection of tools for hard to reach nuts, you might have to bend some metal partitions to gain access.

I ended up returning this. It wasn’t right for me.
