HAPPYEYE glasses intend to reduce or stop visual stress. A lot of research has been done and we await a scientific explanation for the reason people suffer from it. It is thought that the reason people can experience visual stress is due to the fact that some of the signals from the eye to the brain do not get there complete. The brain will then try to filter out the incorrect information. This means that you can sees a different picture than what is actually there. This may results in a person seeing letters jumping about on the page or they appear to be moving. Letters could cross over each other along with other visual experiences. When bright light is filtered out many people report that they see an improvement in the signals from the eye to the brain. They report that the words can become clearer, stop blending together and reduce the moving around. The glasses filter out the light. It is thought that many children with dyslexia will have a visual stress. This does not mean all of them will. Please note that when you put the glasses on the depth will not be the same as when you look a sheet of paper using an overlay. This is because the brain adapts quickly as it knows the world is not blue for example. It does not stop the glasses from working if you have the correct colour. If you do not respond to our glasses then you may need to have the glasses made at an optometrists . The cost is between £100-£300 on average.

Good quality for the money & works well for my daughter.
Works fantastically, my daughter is able to read books & whiteboards without text jiggling around. She says that all is crystal clear with these on. I bought the blue lens as these worked better for my daughter. The glasses are good quality for the price & works for my daughter, no complaints.

Dyslexic Glasses
I brought these as i LOVE the Blue for Reading, but i also enjoy it for every day the Sky is more positive feel to it.These are a Darker colour do love the filter (maybe a bit darker but that might be personal) but the shape. They feel so much more Sunglasses wise and pinch a bit on the side (but they are new)i may use them JUST for reading and a cheaper (less Blue filter) for every dayI am looking to try Purple filters

Very helpful and fits my face well, quite comfortable and calming. I wear them for my dyslexia and they are a lot more effective than my overlay.

These are fantastic
Very comfortable to wear and have improved my reading greatly when going between different books, sheets, boards and screens, although I have to explain they are NOT 'sunglasses' a lot they are totally worth it.

Super price and makes the world of difference!
These are the second pair I have bought for one of my pupils at school. They say that they make a lot of difference to them and saves them from having to use a coloured overlay. We received them really quickly too!
