Nutramax Dermaquin® Skin Support Supplement for Large Dogs 31+ lbs, 60 Soft Chews

I have a baby who has food allergies and it’s hard to find supplements that are not chicken. This is a reorder for us. Her coat looks shiny and healthier than before and she loves eating them.

My vet recommended I use this along with Apoquel for my dog's itchiness. I didn't see a change immediately, but after almost a month, I noticed that I was able to reduce the Apoquel and he didn't itch as much. I have ordered another bag to keep it going and I hope that it keeps working. I have a large dog, 90-100 pounds and I give him one tab a day.

Our poor dog suffers with skin conditions that make her so itchy! Yes, we use Apoquel but it sure doesn’t alleviate the problem. We are still in our first month, so I can’t give a long term review. However, without the Apoquel she is barely licking. After years of trying so many products, I am thrilled with this. She won’t eat them just as a treat but has no problem broken up into her food. Ready to order the next bag and will go down to one per day and see if that continues to do the trick. This was well spent money!

Before I bought this product I read the reviews. Most stated that the chews were hard. The package I received I had found the chews easy to break apart. My pups ate them without any issues. They like the scent of the chews. I’m thinking that a few customers might have received a stale product. I don’t know. It’s a possibility. My Veterinarian suggested I’d buy these for my pups. Highly recommended. I’ve begun the dosage and I’m following the instructions. We shall see if this product helps my pups. They are easy to use. Health benefits as I’ve mentioned recommended by my Veterinarian. They are to help support a pets skin, immune support.

My dog is scratching and licking these days. I consulted with a vet and he recommended these supplements. I started giving my dog the chews and he readily chewed and swallowed them. So, he likes the taste.I will update as we continue to treat his allergies with this product.

My vet highly recommended these for my dog, who in addition to a hip joint surgery a few years ago at his rescue, also has GI and allergy issues. Because of his restricted diet, options for supplements are limited, but it’s super important that he gets the nutrients he needs. I am really happy with these, and I’m so glad that Amazon has them because they are unavailable most everywhere else. He absolutely loves the Dermaquin chews and thinks they are a treat!
