great antenna works really good for dense and hilly area. The gaskets are nice for weather. I have it hooked to a btech gmrs 50 watt radio and a btech gmrs 20v2.

I am no fan of mag mounts but needed this when swapping vehicles for a few weeks. It has the right strength of adhesion so Is not hard to remove, yet it is strong and the antenna is not going anywhere. This is one of the top mag mounts I have ever used, performance was not too far off my permanent roof install.

I was still able to it repeaters 40 to 60 miles away using this in my truck. Now I can go through drive through fast food and car washes with out have to climb out and take down a larger antenna. You will lose some RX & TX in hilly locations. But around town with in good LOS of the repeaters, not an issue.

Good med duty NMO nag mountUse for small dual band antennas like browning BR-179 or Dualband larson look alike antennas use for 1/4 waves spikes or 1/2 nmo could but it will hold it down to your roof.Ground side is conductive.Durable build quality .Bought yet another 7/21 .

i was at a ham-fest and found three MNO mount antennas, so naturally an exactly fitting base was the next on the addenda. These are fast on and fast off mounts, you just unscrew it.

My swr readings are on the high side with this mount. When I move my antenna to another mag mount my swr is 1.3 with the tram it is 1.9. Since I am using the pretuned Gmrs antenna that came with it, I have no adjustment. Also tried another antenna on this mount with the same results. I gave it 2 stars because technically it is usable, however I prefer the lower swr.

I only use TRAM antennas for the mobile setups simply because they work the best. Come pre-tuned and have very accurate SWR results. This magnet is strong. Went through car wash and antenna stay firmly put on the top of my SUV. 259 connector fits perfectly and is sealed firmly where it meets the cable.
