It has worked great for what I do. Made my life so much easier. I can score tungsten and sharpen them in no time.

If your a weekend TIG welder like me it might just do the job , seems to work alright but have only used it 4 times so for ..something to consider if you dip your tungsten and it bulks up it won’t fit into the guide holes unless you grind or cut the tip off ..as a beginner I touch the filler rod to tungsten more then a like to admit

It grinds well on new tungsten electrodes but has issues with regrinding used electrodes (even when trimmed off). The design is a tight fit bushing that makes it hard to rotate new electrodes when grinding and sometimes impossible to insert and rotate slightly distorted used electrodes. I'm hoping the (brass) guide bushing will wear in and loosen up in time. May other brands have open channel guides that work much easier but cost a lot more.

I'm a beginner welder, thus I find myself dipping occasionally. used to clean it with a flap disc but wasn't the safest or most accurate. just slide it in the correct side spin and its clean ready to go! Doesn't take much. Very happy with this product. It's not a big name brand and that is ok. It will do what it's supposed too.

On / Off switch broke after a couple dozen uses and they provided a free replacement
