It removed the windscreen scratches that were made by grit caught under my ice scraper...
I bought this because of the excellent review from Andy H (see other review).I had a light scratch in my windscreen caused by a little bit of grit being caught under the ice-scraper (like him). It was too small to feel with a fingernail, but it 'lit up' when driving into the sunshine. The worst thing was that it was directly at my eye height so was very distracting and even 'lit up' at night when car headlights caught it. Very annoying.I tried a few things to remove it, including Brasso that someone suggested. The mark was less 'harsh' but not removed. I was pricing up replacement windscreens and had nothing to loose, so I tried this.I removed some of the powder into a separate glass jar and added drops of water using a teaspoon, mixing until it was a consistency of ketchup. I didn't use a drill or polisher machine. Just a clean microfibre cloth and some elbow grease.Used tape on the inside of the windscreen to stay on the scratch and polished by hand. After the first 5 mins I could see a distinct improvement in the scratch. A few more goes and it was gone. It takes time, but you need to keep going and checking that the defect is removed.Tested in full sunlight and at night too and the screen looks great now. Very happy with the result. This is a very fine polishing compound, not a miracle cure you wipe on and wipe off. I suspect that those who are disappointed ion the results are not using the right amount or elbow grease or method. But, now I have a 'glass polish' I can use the remove defects. light scratches and windscreen wiper marks from glass without worrying about damaging stuff. You just need to take your time and it works well...

Works by hand on very light scratches
I took a punt on this stuff with low expectations as I've no power tools to apply it with and a lot of people were saying they were required to get any results, but a few people were claiming success with applying it by hand and I'm writing this review to confirm it does work on very light scratches even on tempered glass, although it's hard work.I bought a car which had an area a few inches square on the driver's side window with dozens of fine scratches going all directions. A few could be felt with a fingernail, most couldn't. They were a distraction when looking to that side, especially if the sun was hitting them, as they were just above the part of the window you look through to see in the side mirror, and I was considering getting the window replaced so I figured it was worth trying the DIY option first.I've attached a photo showing before and after probably an hour or so in total of vigorous scrubbing with the paste I made up, which I applied using a combination of microfibre cloth, and a rayon glass polishing pad attached to a velcro backing pad with hand strap (both found on Amazon.) As you can see most of the really fine hairline scratches are no longer visible even with direct sunlight hitting the window, and many of the deeper ones are noticeably lighter. At the angle I'm viewing the window from during normal driving they're even less visible than in the pic, and getting rid of the overall haze of fine lines has stopped the remaining scratches catching my eye, so well worth the effort. I actually had trouble getting the camera to see the scratches for the "after" pic, had to keep my finger near them for it to focus on as otherwise they weren't showing up at all, whereas before it was auto-focusing on them every time. For the price I'd say it's worth a go using this stuff by hand - even if it doesn't remove the scratches you should be able to get a noticeable improvement in the overall appearance.

5 hours .So much mess everywhere ..even in my drill this stuff got in ..
Very hard work Took me 5 hours I had three long scratches ..it make a message off everything I mean everything get covered up even your drill cover it this stuff gets inside your drill I bought two pots of this stuff and 4 pads with adapter for the drill cost £31.00... Be prepared to work hard and get very very Dirty with this stuff mybe it take less time if only one scratch .. Make sure you wash of black plastic we're the bonnet and the vents are near your wipers ... ALL SO THIS COULD BLOCK YOUR Drain holes were the water runs on your car .. WASH OFF THOROUGHLY DO NOT LET IT DRY ON BLACK PLASTIC IT TAKE VERY HARD WORK TI GET THIS STUFF OFF ... ADVISE IF YOU HAVE LONG SCRATCHES MORE THAN TWO AND IT IS IN THE VIEW IF YOU DRIVING CLAIM ON INSURANCE ... AS I SAID BEFIRE THIS STUFF MAKES A MESS EVERYWHERE ... I GOT MOST OF THE SCRATCHES OUT BUT I CAN SEE SWIRLING SCRATCHES WERE THE LONGEST SCRATCH WAS OUT IF THE THREE .. I GIVE THREE STARS BECAUSE FOR SMALL SCRATCHES IT WOULD BE OK .. FOR LING SCRATCHES I WOULD NIT USE THIS PRODUCT AGAIN .IT TO MUCH HARD WORK AND VERY VERY MESSY ..

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
DO NOT BUY IT. Waste of time and money. Even the small and thin scratches didn’t disappeared. Worst: left more scratches. In this case there’s no miracle solution. I will have to spend £200 and buy a me new windscreen.

Not incredibly abrasive but in good for very light scratches
I purchased this to get rid of some scratches on my windows of a house I have bought somebody had used blades which had left indents and scratches in the glass.I found while using this with a rotating polishing tool on my hand drill that I was able to remove the majority of the very light scratches however the very deep ones required additional work with sandpaper and/or more course rubbing compound.Overall though I'm quite happy with this it's far better than just using pink stuff or homemade pastes and powders and providing you're not trying to do some of the thing out of scope for the product it will give a good overall result to your glass.
