Good for neck mounted strap buttons
For £5 these are a cheap alternative to the likes of Schaller and work well.Of particular interest to me was the improvement it makes to my ES-339 which has the strap button mounted on the rear of the neck. This device lessens the strap angle and means that the guitar doesn't fall away from your body as much. Not as good as moving the button onto the horn but an improvement nonetheless.

A Must Have
Every one of my guitars is now fitted with one of these strap-locks. Why would you want to risk a guitar drop when these exist? Can totally recommend as an essential high quality purchase.

Better as a strap lock...
Works well as a strap lock, however, not as good for holding guitar cables especially if they are thick.

Excellent! Fitted ok, nice and snug. Should definitely prevent the strap disengaging, which it does quite often...

Thick strap could be a problem.
Tight fit if using a thick strap, otherwise excellent.
