WENKO19637100 Freestanding Toilet roll Holder 2 in 1, Metal Stainless Steel, 25.5 x 54 x 18 cm, Shiny

I bought this item to replace what I thought was an identical one from Dunelm. It does look very much like the Dunelm loo roll holder but doesn’t quite match up in terms of quality/value for money. While this item was only a few pounds more than I paid in Dunelm, it isn’t as solid (the stand comprises two pieces which screw together whereas my old one was one section). I am happy enough with it, it does exactly what we need it to (we have nowhere in the bathroom to hang a loo roll holder), and it looks just fine. My only minor grumble would be that the brand sticker had to be removed using ‘goo gone’ and has left a visible mark despite being polished. For the small amount paid, I’m not too concerned. I would definitely buy it again (unless Dunelm bring back their discontinued version)

This is nice for a modern bathroom and does what it says on the tin. Quite a sleek design, I wouldn’t use it as a loo roll store as prefer putting these away out of sight.

A good value product compared with similar s/steel versions being sold in the big department stores at nearly double the price. Easy to assemble, but be warned! Check the length of your toilet roll as some of the higher end producers version is longer than some, which means it won’t sit within the end lip of the top bar, resulting in the roll continually rolling off the top bar when pulled. However get the right size roll and it works fine!

Space saving as holds up to 5 rolls and no drilling into the wall

It arrived with scratches and no assembly instructions.

The base arrived with a pinprick dent, but this is covered by the loo roll, so not necessary to send it back.That's the only reason it loses one starBeing stainless steel I'm hopeful that it won't rust (unlike the chrome stand it replaced). Time will tell.It's a stylish, practical and stylish piece of bathroom furniture ; recommended.

I bought this after deciding that I wouldn't fight with fixing my toilet roll holder to the wall again because I had lost the screw to fix it with and I couldn't find a replacement screw - plus there was no guarantee the holder wouldn't fall off again if I did manage to fit it back on the wall.I was surprised when it was delivered (promptly) because the box was flat. You have to fit the metal base to the pole that will hold the toilet rolls.There is a screw at the bottom of the pole which you unscrew - then fit it through a small hole in the circular metal base and then the screw will go through to the bottom of the pole again - so when the screw is tightened the two pieces are secure together.You need to make sure the screw is fully tightened and can't move any more then the holder is secure.I think it is personal choice whether you keep the black circular base that fits inside the metal base. It didn't seem to make much difference to me. The rim of the metal base is smooth so I don't expect it to mark my laminate floor. The arm does tilt when you use it so the holder doesn't topple over easily. I now also have somewhere to store 2 spare toilet roles on the pole as well as the one in use so it is a space saver too.This holder saves me having to find a new toilet roll holder for the wall and I can take this with me wherever I move to in the future. In my opinion this is well worth the money - well done Amazon and Wenko for a brilliant idea!
