DUALLY FLOOD FM /2

These are a pair or flush mount, frosted lens flood lights that work well in the rear bumper of our overlanding van. They pump out light almost without pattern. If that's what you want, these are what you need. I do not think they would work well on the front of a vehicle where one might want even a slight focus to the beam.They claim to be IP68, and it remains to be seen how well they hold up to moisture over time. This kit comes with a pair of lamps, a wiring harness, lighted switch, and instructions that includes a cutting template. If you mount the lamps on the rear or sides of the vehicle, expect to modify the harness. That's not a criticism of the product -- no one harness suits all purposes.The lights work well when used as auxiliary reverse lights. These are not connected to the reverse circuit, but to a separate switch installed in a dash knockout. I had heard a horror story of some LED lamps being too high of a color temperature to work with backup cameras. These worked fine with our stock Sprinter backup camera. These also function well as work lights in our application.This is our second pair of Rigid D-series lights. The other pair are surface (not flush) mounts. We will update this review if either fail prematurely.

What an incredible light! It did take about 2.5 hours to complete the install on my 04 Silverado front bumper (including cleanup, making custom switch mount, and putting tools away) wish I could attach some pics. As far as performance goes (I use them as fog lights) I wouldn't be without them. They have great area coverage so I can see the sides of the roads better too. Eventually I will get the Dually D2 Wide pattern (twice as bright) and switch these to the back for backup lights. Would recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality light, very bright, low draw. Came with all the hardware and wiring needed for the install, just needed to extend the wire about a foot and a half for my truck ( and I would imagine for most trucks).Great product!

I mounted these in the rear bumper of my truck and wired them to operate with the factory backup lights. I also wired a manual switch so I can use them when hooking up trailers at night and anytime I need some rear lighting. I may swap them out for the diffused pattern style but like the reach these beam patterns have. Very well made, alloy cases with fins to dissipate heat. Included template for cut out and rubber gasket to seal them off. Included wiring harness is decent and provides basic operation.

Good but expensive

I have these in my lifted Chevy 2500HD rear bumper. and WOW it is amazing how much easier it is to back up and be able to see where you are going. and the added benefit when you have someone behind you, there is no question on what you are doing when the back up, I had them wired into my reverse lights. so no extra switches or drilled holes in the dash.

Great in the back bumper for added illumination while backing up during snow plowing. Quite bright and look nice surface mounted.

These are EXTREMELY bright...I cut them into my bumper for additional lighting while backing and it's a bit much...washes out the camera some...BUT when loading a trailer or working behind the truck at night it's nearly daytime brightness back there!

I've heard that there are Chinese knock offs that are almost as good as these, but after looking at the specs of those the 6 LED Chinese ones had less output than the 4 LED rigid Dually light.These are great for illuminating the area in the immediate area of the vehicle, but really don't have much reach at all. If you need something subtle that looks nice than this is what you need.

Well ... I mean.... damn! I spent the money on well made lights, or so I thought. These bad boys have been installed on my truck for about 2 months, one is fine, the other lamp is filling with condensation and water. These are activated by my reverse lights and are really, barely on.So anyway, I really could have just done with the cheapo chinese ones and got about the same product. My next call is to rigid.
