Thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Squeaky-Clean Exfoliating Face Scrub. Perlite is the exfoliating material used in this scrub and is a volcanic mineral. All of The Body Shop® Body Scrubs contain natural exfoliators; polyethylene micro beads are no longer used in any of our products.

Q: Does this come sealed?

Hi Ashekian! We are always trying to reduce our impact on the environment and one way we do this is by trying to avoid using unnecessary packaging. We only use hygiene seals on some products, such as lip products, to show that they haven’t been used. Our Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Exfoliating Face Scrub comes without a seal. Hope it helps.
