How wonderful they came in a pack of 2 as well - perfect for my 2 scouts. Nice design, well made, didn’t eat through the batteries, gave them good visibility for their night activities, easy to fit in their pockets and bags, they liked the zoom function to concentrate the beam of light. They also had a great little flat surface to enable me to label them - thanks for saving this mother that headache!

Sturdy torch and in all fairness has taken a bit of knocks! First off the focus of the torch gets a decent beam upto I’d say about 150ms and the beam spread about 50 meters with a wider field of view.There is an adaptor that takes the larger rechargeable batteries like the ons that you put in the vapes. I run this of bog standard batteries and I am struggling to find a fault with it.The build quality is ok and there’s a wave bezel that protects the lense, overall length is around 5 inches and there’s is a power button which is easily accessible with you thumb. A staggered press of this turns the torch into a strobe light or into SOS mode that repeats.Impressive for the price when compared to other brands such as o light which cost up to x4 this. Further more it also has a wrist strap for added secure fit. One final thing I would say is that whilst there is a rubber gasket internally on the battery I have not tested it to see if is water proof but then again I have never needed it for wet work

Ordered 12/01/2017, delivered 15/01/2017 along with other items.Delivered in a nice little cardboard box with cutouts for the torch, batteries and rechargeable holder.The torch is quite chunky, much chunkier than I expected, especially around the bulb. It is made of two separate pieces ofmachine turned metal.The bottom portion is dimpled to assist with grip, The lens / bulb end notched to assist holding andextending the torch.Extending / de-extending the torch either tightens or opens up the light beam.I did a few indoor measurements and sitting 15 feet from a wall the beam spread from 12 inches to just over 12 feet on the midlevel light setting.The torch has a length of just under 6 inches fully extended. Close to 4 inches unextended.The base unscrews to let the three AAA battery holder be removed and the provided AAA batteries be fitted, flat end to the spring.There is also a small length of plastic tube which can be used for taking up the slack when using a thinner appropriaterechargeable battery.I recognise this plastic tube and its intention / use, because of personal experiences.There is nothing with the torch to indicate what alternative battery can be used.There is a decent adjustable wrist lanyard attached to the base of the torch.The torch is switched on by pressing the button once for each of the functions. Different fixed light levels and a flashing light.The light at its brightest is a powerful light, very suitable for dog walking and similar.Overall, This is a nice torch and should have a decent potential use period. (Subject to LED quality and of course treatingthe torch properly)This example is priced at the upper end of that which I would expect to find for this type of torch on the internet but significantlymuch better value that I would expect to find on the high street.I write this review based on my own opinions gleaned as a result of decades of experiences in a professional occupationthroughout the world, as a consumer, as a property owner and raising a family.I hope that this review is of assistance to you as a potential buyer. A great inexpensive torch..ideal size to keep in your pocket. Good price for a good item.

I bought two of these as we were planning a trip up to Orkney in October. They arrived the following day, well packaged and batteries included.First impression was how solid the construction is and a simple press of the green button on the end is all that’s needed to switch them on, the button is also illuminated so easy to see in the dark, it also has multi functions, press and torch comes on, press a second time and torch goes into strobe mode press a third time and torch sends out an SOS flashing signal.We are currently in Orkney and as expected the area is pitch black at night, so I tested the torch out and was really impressed by the bright white light and its spread across a good area, buy pulling and pushing the bulb end of the body it changes from a wide area to more of a spot light.One of the best torches I have ever purchasedNice and lightweight yet robust body, easy to carry and store in glove box of the car,also has a handy wrist strap attached.

Bought this for my youngest son for a school trip small enough to put in pocket yet powerful enough to light a good distance

Very bright, durable construction seems well made.

It is rugged and dependable. The included batteries were functional and very convenient.
