I came across this on audio science review while looking for a good portable audio solution. I was surprised to see just how amazing the performance of such a tiny device can be, it performs as good as a great desktop dac. The only difference between this and a full desktop setup is power output for driving headphones but that is really not an issue for its intended use. It drives all of my headphones very well, portable and full size open backs. I even use it with usb audio player pro and tried out using the parametric eq with several filters and a -5.5db preamp gain and the hidizs still had the power to drive the headphones to loud levels with more clicks of volume remaining and no audible distortion. I tried that with the sennheiser hd560s as well and it was the same situation, no audible distortion and volume remaining. I think that's a bit beyond its intended use but it does perform admirably. I did see some complaints about the included usb cables but who cares, I immediately bought a cablecreations gold plated usb cable in the termination/length I needed for $7 and it's actually nicer than the included cables imo so that's a small price to pay for the level of performance you get here for $80. Products like this raise the bar for everyone, and rightfully so, consumers pay a good markup for premium products and deserve a good product in return. The hidizs s8 is an actual premium product, compact but high end performance and build. The outer frame is a solid single piece of aluminum and the front and back are high gloss black covered in glass, it looks and feels so much better than I expected.

I researched and purchased this cable as a replacement for the old cable that came with my Wacom Intuos CTL-4100WL. I recently had problems with my Wacom tablet connecting to my MacBook Pro, and worried that I would need to replace the entire tablet. Such a purchase is currently not within my budget, so I researched mini USB connectors with a USB-C plug. I ordered this on a Friday from Amazon and it arrived Sunday evening.The cable not only snugly connects into the Wacom Tablet but it also reduces the excess cable that I would normally have on my desk. The tablet connects to my laptop and most importantly the Wacom pen operates just fine again. I highly recommend this cable for the affordable price.Pro: Shortened cable connects directly to Wacom tablet, making my adapter no longer necessary. It clears up space on my desk by reducing the cord length of the tablet to the computer and is very affordable.Problem solved: This cable helped me fix my drawing tablet instead of needing to buy a new one.

The quality is very nice and the fabric is strong. I don't feel like this will rip or fall apart any time soon. It works great as an OTG cable to my DAC (Digital-to-analog converter) from both my Galaxy tab S3 and Dell XPS 9560.However, it does not work with the OnePlus 5 as an OTG cable and will therefore not transmit any signal, even if you enable OTG in your advanced settings. But that's also a limitation on OnePlus' part because very few non official OTG cables work with the OnePlus phones - I've had success with Anker though.

Anyone who works regularly with microcontrollers knows that flashing firmware can be finicky, and the cable used to do the flashing is a common culprit for annoying problems. I use these cables specifically for their reliability in flashing firmware and they've never let me down. I've purchased them several times and they all just work.
