What I noticed immediately was that my vision instantly became better. But now I notice my cognitive function is better.Having been poisoned with an insecticidal fogger, and with mixed xylene isomers in a commercial chemical wood stripper, during the 1980s and early '90s, I thought nothing would bring back my memory and cognitive ability to learn from the consequences of my actions. But this product, along with eating a healthy vegan diet and lots of blueberries, definitely is helping me. Some people even call me a walking encyclopedia.My local physician, a believer in eating fish, believes I should eat fish, which I don't or at least take fish oil supplements, says that he does not know what I'm doing, but to keep doing it. My health from blood tests appears great (WITHOUT FISH).

I've been using Dr Fuhrman's DHA supplement for my son for a few years now. The quality is superb, always fresh with a mild taste, and no harmful mercury or contaminants that fish oil may contain. I mix it with a little bit of applesauce, which is an easy and palatable way to get our little one to take it each day. We live in a warm climate, so we opt for 2 day delivery in the summertime.

I mix this into a smoothie every morning for my daughter and I. The taste is very pleasant and easily masked. I cannot swallow vitamins or other pills so this product is perfect for people like me. :) So far, I am happy with this product. It is shipped quickly and although it is not shipped cold, I put it in the fridge as soon as I get it and the quality does not diminish during the shipping time. I am continuing to reorder when the product runs out. :)

Won't buy again, after about 2 weeks in the fridge it smells horrid of fish, unbearable to drop on the tongue anymore, had to stop taking it. The list of ingredients are clean, though, which is nice.

I no longer trust this oil because it is not tested for BMAA contamination. BMAA is found in some algae oil and may cause ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). I asked them if they planned to test for BMAA and they said no that was not necessary because BMAA could not possibly grow in the algae they use to produce this oil. Others disagree with this, however, and it seems to me that it is better to be safe than sorry. The person from this company said that BMAA has not been found in the type of algae they use to produce this oil which is Schizochytrium. I don't believe that Schizochytrium has ever been tested for BMAA contamination so the notion that it cannot be contaminated seems more based on fanciful theory rather than hard science.In any event, I don't trust this oil or this company anymore. I cannot imagine not testing this oil--to me that is the only safe thing to do. I am going to discard the last bottle of this oil that I bought and I am sorry this company does not accept returns of this oil. I have known folks with ALS and I certainly won't take any chances.

Really like the taste of this.. it has a hint of citrus.. very easy to swallow. However, I feel like the dosage should be more than .75ml. I would love for this to be in pill form because I forget to take it when it's in my fridge. I have taken this throughout my pregnancy and I'm 5 months now.. the baby is kicking like crazy and I like to think this dha/epa is the reason for it :) the taste was great in the beginning, however, tastes are changing for me since farther along in my pregnancy and I have to mask the taste with orange juice.. it does the trick!
