It is 100% ofc and but coated in aluminum and actual 4g wire, not 8g with a crap to if insulation. This is a very good wire kit, would definitely buy again and I am recommending this to everyone one

Q: Will this work with a kicker Comp R 12” with a 1600w amp?

Speakers are not part of equation. Just power draw of amplifier. Read amplifier instructions for recommendations of wire gauges
