Better than a rounded scoop
If your ice cream is frozen hard, this is the scoop you need. You can shove it straight forward through the ice cream to actually serve yourself. Rounded scoops require you to sort of twist them through the hard ice cream, which doesn't work, and that means the ice cream has to be softer before you can get any out of the carton. And who has time to wait for ice cream? Plus if you leave the ice cream carton on the counter to soften, and later put it back in the freezer, your ice cream will probably grow ice crystals and not be as creamy and wonderful.

Love this ice cream spade. So much easier than using a scoop. Sturdy metal. No fear of it breaking. Ice cream comes off easily.

No More Ice Cream Scoops!
Now that I use this ice cream “scooper” I would never go back to this old fashioned round scoops. Until I began using this design scooper, you have no idea what a difference it makes. If you like struggling to get a dip of ice cream then ignore what I say. Otherwise, for a very reasonable price, order this ice cream scooper and see how easy it is to enjoy ice cream from now on! Best Ice Cream Spade EVER
I don’t do a lot of reviews unless it’s something I’m especially taken to. I’ve had all kinds of ice cream scoopers. This one is far & above the best I’ve ever had. It’s no wimpy thing. I’ve only had it for 6 wks or so, but I use it nearly every day. It’s heavy enough that I know it won’t break. Well made. Also I’m left handed but it’s works the same for either. It cleans easily. I wash it immediately & it’s a breeze.You will not be disappointed w/this stainless steel product.I wasn’t sure if the shape would work bc I’ve always had the ones that make a scoop looking shape of ice cream. If you specifically want it for a cone it may not be perfect.I don’t even care bc for me it works in every where I need it to. It was reasonable & well worth the cost. Came quickly. I’ll be recommending it for sure. Just get it & I know you’ll be love it as much as I do. HAPPY SCOOPING
