Vitakraft Crunch Sticks Parakeet Treat, Honey, Egg, and Apple, Multi Pack of 12 Sticks

I wasn't sure how the neighborhood birds were going to take to this. Well they had a blast! All sizes and species flew over to see what goodies I was tossing around, I plucked it off the holder and threw sections to the ground. They were eating all around me. It was a lovely sight and made my day! Buying more now.

My finches love these and go right over and start picking away at it as soon as I hang one in their cage. I like them because they help give my birds something different to do and to help promote natural foraging behaviors.The only issue I had was that the packaging on Amazon's part needs work. It shipped in a bubble mailer so a lot of the seed treat was crushed and loose in the product package. There was only about half (at most) of it still attached to the stick. I put the crushed pieces in their food dish, but it's less fun for them and doesn't keep them occupied as well.

My one year old cockatiel devours these. I hang one at the top of her cage and she just nibbles away at them in just a few days! Sometimes they arrive a bit broken, which is a little annoying (depends on the driver/warehouse) but when they do, I just dump the loose seeds into her food dish so it's not super messy.

The product itself was great. My odds loved the seed. The problem was in the way Amazon packaged it. The package had no padding, so treat sticks arrived smashed and of course it is not returnable. I realize it is just a bird treat, but I didn't pay money to receive a smashed product. This is happening a lot lately with many of my Amazon shipments...poor packaging!

My birds love these, they're very picky but they strip these bare fast, so I'm glad I found them in bulk for a good price.

The media could not be loaded.  My birds love this stuff, but they enjoy taking it off the stick themselves.

My new little budgie loves these! I've only had him a couple weeks and while he's progressing well in the "step up" training I haven't been able to find any treat he will take from my hand as a reward. But as soon as I hung this in his cage I could tell he loved it. So much that I had to take it out because he was avoiding his regular food to just eat this treat. But then I realized it would be perfect to try to teach him to eat from my hand. I started holding it from the far end while he nibbles and move my fingers closer and closer until he's eating the treat right next to my fingers. So now he only gets this special treat during our little bonding sessions and I can already tell he's waiting for it when I sit down beside his cage.The only con is that it does seem to break apart a little easier then other stick treats so it gets used up quickly but I'm willing to ignore that because of how much my little boy loves it! I will be purchasing several more on my next order!Edit: I placed a second order for 5 more packages. This time there were some that arrived very crumbled in the package.
