These are on the expensive side but boy it's the best flavored licorice I have had. They are small pieces but very strong. the texture isn't gummy they are hard. I only needed 1 or 2 to feel satisfied, so they are lasting a long time. it's not a typical soft candy. I'll probably buy more in the future. It has superior taste.

Heads up: this is very salty. I don't know a single American person who likes it besides me.

Love these original Licorice Salmiak Pastillen, just like from the German Apotheke. After more than 50 years still the same taste, real licorice!

I was told that it will clear up any mucus in your mouth. It is amazing that this very tiny little piece of salty licorice can be so powerful but it is. All you need is one little chip and you will be cleared up and ready to go or sleep. You will not enjoy the taste but it doesn’t last long. One of the best values around!

I was looking for something like Sen-Sen. These are similar but not really what I was looking for. May be popular in Germany but I don’t think they’ll ever catch on in the good old USA. They have a salty flavor at first then a dull licorice flavor.

Reminds me of Sen Sen candy but salty. Flat hard shards they are Crispy crunchy with strong licorice salt taste. Lovely for a sore throat. I really love them. Great price and a good refreshing taste

Even thou they were still within the expiration date. These tasted like they were years past it. I've have been eating pastilles for over fifty years. So I know how they should taste like. These weren't just old. They were beyond old. As you suck on and started to bite down on them . It like biting into rocks.
