East to fit - it took about 30 seconds. The only thing to be careful of is the cable which is quite long - this needs to be tucked out of the way and no have any weight on it.The item itself works brilliantly.

The transponders for our Dimplex fire need replacing every 12 months. Prices vary on Amazon. At the price I thought this was great value but didn’t hold out great hopes of it working. I fitted the part and it didn’t work. I changed the disc. Still nothing. Then I read that once the transponder is fitted the fire needs to be unplugged for 30 minutes. I did this and when the fire came on there was smoke. After 10 minutes or so the fire was looking more realistic than ever. I’m so glad I didn’t return this item as it works brilliantly.

Spot on , does a good job, easy to replace . Cheap enough. This is the second time i purchased this. Only negative is it only lasted 18 months before stop working. Lets hope this one lasts longer

Ordered this instead of a genuine Dimplex one because of the price difference.Worked for 24 hrs then stopped,went to change the disc in case it was that but when I took the cap off the disc this transducer only has a seal underneath the disc whereas the genuine one has one above and below.This meant water had got in and obviously tripped out the fire.Only way to get it going again was to dry it then fit back in fire but only lasts a day before you have to do it again.You might be lucky but I have now tried two of theses cheap transducers and they both failed for same reason.Have now ordered a genuine transducer.

The media could not be loaded. Have had this a good few weeks now, at the beginning the mist was very strong, but it's settled lovely.. the flame effect is fab, I think it's like the original product set on a 3. Very easy to install. I'm thinking after a few months use the flame will slow a little more making it more comparable to the original. Very pleased with the quality and the price.. nice that it comes with extra metal filters and key.. but at this price point I'm not sure I want to bother with hoaking around. The original lasted about 2 years.. be interested to see how this wee one goes.. (yes I'm using filtered water)..

Worked perfect

Replacement transducer for my Dimplex OptiMyst Gosport fire. It fits and works perfectly and as a bonus, its half the price of an original part. Also came with a couple of spare discs. Bonus!UPDATE - LESS THAN 1 YEAR ON - I bought this going into last Winter and whilst it was great and worked perfectly for a few mths, after re-comissioning (yes I thoroughly drained and cleaned the unit out after use last Winter as you should) it only worked for quite literally one evening this week so had to drop it 2 stars. In total, we've only had a couple of hundred hours use out of it. I would have expected this to have given at least a 1000hrs as a minimum. So .... the spare discs that came with it are pretty pointless because the even after changing it for one if the spares supplied, it made no difference because it is the unit itself which has failed. So my dilemma is do I buy another one, hope for the best and hope it lasts longer or do I buy the original part which is now 3 times the price?? Hmmmm 🤔.
