I have had torn a rotator cuff for a few months. Extremely painful, making my left arm almost non functional. I didn't want to take painkillers or get an operation. As a lzst report I read about collagen peptides "possibly" restoring connective tissue. I took about six capsules per day for 10 days and achieved more healing than the previous months. My shoulder has gone from about 10% functional to approximately 80% functional in four weeks. I am now able to do the physical therapy easily, whereas before I couldn't lift my arm!

I’m more likely to take the collagen soft gel, than the powder at this point (I already take 4 or five powdered supplements off and on.) reasonably priced

So I read the only other review posted....these gel capsules are big, true...but if you have any experience with other supplements in this form (gel caplets) where larger quantities are needed , they are always big. Think evening primrose oil, L Arginine, etc. Or visualize a scoop of collagen powder and cram that into gel caplets. Useless review.Anyway. Just finished the first bag of collagen gel caplets and here it is:I am 54, femaleTook 3 a day (spread out) always with vit C and hyaluronic acid supplements as well as some othersNo gastrointestinal issues developed.My hair is still thick and shiny (just finished peri-menopause so could have gone differently)Nails same as before. Skin same as before (again, having gone through perimenopause, I think that is pretty good considering )No weight loss no weight gain. In other words, I have been going through a hell physically and mentally (wow puberty is nothing compared to this) yet all the areas collagen supplements are allegedly addressing did NOT get worse . I believe that these collagen supplements have helped me maintain rather than improve. For the price you can't really go wrong : enough to take for 3 months roughly which is pretty much the standard time I would give any supplement (it's the same amount of time doctors want you to try hormone prescriptions like birth control pills etc. ) And no, I don't take any hormones (no health insurance so...) I will continue to take these in addition to my other supplements.

It’s very unflattering seeing grimes and blurred prints all over the bottle. Also the label feels super weird to touch, putting any pressure on it would result a noise of nails on chalkboard. Feels like there should be another layer of glossy film that went missing.All these doesn’t reflect the quality of the actual product, of course. But it does show a lack of attention to details during manufacturing. Only hoping there’s nothing wrong inside the bottle.
