Ultimate charcuterie!
We picked one of these up as a charcuterie centerpiece for a party. We all had a great time taking turns, cutting slices off. It was delicious and reminded me of a recent trip to Spain. We shaved off some of the protective fat cap to reveal the beautiful meat underneath. The texture on the exterior shell was a little bit drier (some preferred it that way) the center was amazingly soft and moist. It tasted great and paired well with several wine options. Will definitely purchase again and we still have leftovers!

MY FIRST SERRANO HAM! LOVED IT!
Got one for the holiday season, my first every, have to say the flavor is worth it in every way, I use a little to add with dishes and rice, a must for any food lover! Delicious and good conversation piece for holidays. Be careful with the knife!

It was good.
This was a gift for my extended family. I was not able to spend Christmas with them, but I heard only good things from the ones who did. Merry Christmas everyone. Happy New Year!

Very Dry
This is the 6th year I have purchssed a Serrano ham for the holiday season. Costco had sold out of the Noel so I decided to give this one a try. Massive disappointment. The entire ham is so hard it's not enjoyable. The maza side is mostly hard and dry. If I wanted jerky I would have bought jerky.

From a Spaniard. Uneventful taste and horrible stand
Spaniard here. The taste of the ham is very blah and the texture is chewy. The stand is the worst. The wood is so light that the ham moves all over when you are trying to cut it.I know is a Serrano, but we got a much better quality from the Noel we got at Costco for half the price.I won't be buying this again.

You get what you pay for.
I was expecting a 12 month cured ham, and it was exactly what I expected. I have tasted the two and three-year hams and yeah they are good and I could taste a slight change in the richness of flavore. But, whean I can get 95% of the experience for 50% of the cost, that is right up my alley. And it's not just about the ham, it's about the bread and the Manchego cheese to go with it! So overall exactly what I would expect from a 12 month ham and the best bang for your buck IMO.
