Cats Love It
The rope on one of my cat trees was worn and coming off from use (thankfully, my pets used it instead of the furniture). So I removed the tattered rope winding that was on it and replaced it with some of this stuff. This product is a little smaller in diameter than what was on the tree originally, but this product is working very well as a replacement. I'm very satisfied with this product, and the quantity in the bundle will allow me to continue to repair the tree many more times.

It's rope.
Great ropey product. I’m using it for an upcoming project, but the little toy ball it comes with has become a favorite of the cats. Also, it does not smell as badly as I was expecting. Look forward to making a cat structure with this sisal rope.

Cats won’t touch it.
It seems to be good quality, a little stiffer than the original twine that was on the scratching post. As others have stated it has a horrible smell, but that does get better over time. Problem is my cats won’t touch it. Sometimes they scratch it once and then leave it. They used to go to town on the post with the original twine. Will have to just purchase another scratching post for them.Edited review. After a few weeks the smell is gone and the cats are scratching a bit more, still not as much as the stuff the was originally on it, but they aren’t staying away completely. The seller contacted me after the review and offered a refund which is nice. I would probably use this again if I can’t find anything else that works better, but id set it outside for a few days before using.
