Works perfectly. Attaches securely and does not fall at all as some comments mention. Have to twist it all the way until the writings come on top and it is as secure as it can get. Taking off is easy too - just turn counter-closkwise. Material is excellent and inside is matte to not cause glare. The petals are not as long as those in other models but that can be seen in the picture and does not come as a suprise.

j'ai une camera canon rebel t7 completement neuve,et j'ai acheter ce pare soleil malheureusement il s'enclenche mais il tourne sur la lentille et fini par tomber ,pour moi ca ne fonctionne pas mais peut etre pour d'autre personne avec une lentille differente ca pourrait peut etre fonctionner merci

I don't know why some people give this hood 1 star, I have a Canon 18 55 IS lens as well as a 55 200 IS lens and the fit is perfect. It even snaps in place without any play. The quality is Canon quality and I give this a 10/10.

It can be rather frustrating when you install it the first time but you should be ok once you figure it out. I am giving it 4 stars since it is quite cheap, functional and very light due to the quality of the plastic.

Not disappointed by this economical replacement. I severely needed new hoods and got these in all my sizes and couldn’t be happier. Instant improvement in reducing optic related funkery from the sun
